It'd be interesting if however we didn't already know how the conversation was going to turn out with Thompson sputtering non-sense and cutting everyone else out from talking. If all else fails with the lynching, someone at least bring duct tape.

Unfortunately I'd say Thompson has the upper hand. Not because his arguments have more merit, but because his job, nay, his LIFE is centered around selling negative ideas about gaming to legislators. He is quite experienced in the debating arena.

I'm kind of disappointed that Methenitis is doing this with Jacko. Everyone at the con is going to be a gamer, and all gamers know how unprofessional and crazy Jack is. There's no need to debate him. I'd rather see Methenitis debate someone rational, someone who could actually debate and someone who gamers can have some respect for. This just reeks of Screw Attack wanting a lot of attention. : /

I wonder how structured the debate is. From the couple of times I've seen Thompson debating with people, he has a penchant of interrupting them when they speak.
