Ben G.: No WRUP this week?
Alexander S.: ... crap.
Ben G.: Sorry, buddy. We can run it tomorrow. (I just realized now, if it makes you feel any better.)
Alexander S.: You couldn't remind me 10 hours ago? :)
Randy N.: Are you sure it's too late?
Ben G.: I would do that now but my flux capacitor's broken.
Alexander S.: I'll send it out, see what response we get. Post-GDC brain fart.
Ben G.: Yep. You just got your edition name.
Alexander S.: Sent ...
- Alexander Sliwinski (@XanderSliwinski): Loving Valkyria Chronicles. I want a Hans!
- Andrew Yoon: Nothing exciting for me. Maybe it's time to go through the backlog. Lost and Damned, perhaps?
- Ben Gilbert (@BigBossBgilbert): Between traveling around the Northeast corridor and finalizing the lease on a new apartment, I'll be lucky if I get a half hour of time with this week's XBLA deal, Alien Hominid HD. The first few levels had me shouting profanity already so I'm really looking forward to more! Also, I promised myself I'd beat Dr. Wily in MM9. That promise will likely be broken.
- Christopher Grant (@ChrisGrant): Nothing, are you happy? NOTHING!
- David Hinkle (@davehinkle): (Alexander's goldfish memory is the reason no text goes here.)
- Dustin Burg (@SuperDunner): I'll be finishing up a super secret project and spending my down time playing Halo 3, Gears of War 2 as well as some (way too difficult) The Dishwasher.
- Griffin McElroy (@griffinmcelroy): (Yup, this is why you send WRUP early in the day.)
- James Ransom-Wiley: A week later, I'm still getting life outta the IGF-winning (and nominated) iPhone games. Imagine that?
- Jason Dobson (@eToyChest): With a deceased Xbox 360 now resting peacefully, I'll spend the weekend going through my scrapbook, remembering all the fun times we had.
- Jem Alexander (@Yembles): Still Resistance Retribution, Patapon 2 and Silent hHill. I may have to get my PSP surgically removed after all of this. Also, Square Enix has been sending me emails asking me why I haven't picked up Crystal Chronicles: Echoes of Time for the DS yet, so I need to grab that at some point. Square Enix owns my soul.
- JC Fletcher (@jcfletcher): I'm planning on getting into some Tenchu: Shadow Assassins this weekend. Or Tenchu: Completely Obvious Assassins, as my sneaking skills render the game. I might as well have an airhorn in this thing.
- Justin McElroy (@JustinMcElroy): Henry Hatsworth is the only thing I care about any more.
- Kevin Kelly (@gadgetguy): I'm playing a lot of Ubistuff: HAWX, Rainbow Six Vegas (old school!), and per Ludwig's obsession, I'm trying out Far Cry 2. It's also another board game frenzy night this weekend, and I'm hoping to bust out the Tumblin' Dice again for more mindless dice rolling fun.
- Ludwig Kietzmann (@LudwigK): With the announcement of a new Jak & Daxter, I figured I'd try out the first game in the series, if only to satiate my hunger for a fanciful platformer. Otherwise, I'll be continuing my co-op Veteran run through Resident Evil 5.
- Majed Athab: I finally got to watch both parts of John Woo's Red Cliff recently. So, basically I'm in the mood to play Romance of the Three Kingdoms X. And maybe some Dynasty Warriors.
- Randy Nelson (@DangerPenguin): I'm planning to play a lot of my DS back catalog on the (now) ol' DS Lite in anticipation of a BRIGHT BLUE new DSi (yes, I went there) coming all the way from the Amazon. (How they promise such quick delivery, I do not know.) Then I can play them again, commenting that the graphics look "bigger" while I run around annoying friends and family by taking snapshots -- constantly.
- Richard Mitchell (@SenseiRAM): Resident Evil 5. The Dishwasher: Dead Samurai. Contra 4. Now leave me alone.
- Xav de Matos (@Xav): Skate 2 and, when my voice comes back, Rock Band 2.
- Justin Glow (@justinglow): (Has no time for your mortal concerns.)
