We were always envious of the elementary school eggheads that were rewarded for their Honor Roll placement with free pies from Pizza Hut. Finally, we get our sweet, decade-old revenge from a promotion that honors things that really matter, namely: Being good at Midnight Club: Los Angeles.
To mark the release of the "South Central" DLC for the game, those that download it can compete in the "Midnight Club: Los Angeles Pizza Hut South Central Showdown" for a chance at winning $599 worth of Pizza Hut gift cards. Because that's what the world's greatest Midnight Club player needs: $599 worth of excuses not to leave the house.

Hey Rockstar, how about a patch instead for all of us that have PAID for the South Central DLC but can't actually play any of the career races ?

I remember that Book It program from elementary school. Read a bunch, eat a bunch of personal size pizza. People can bitch and moan about Pizza Hut all they want, but I loved those itty bitty Italian sausage pizzas so much.
Now that I have celiac disease, there's no more of that nationwide pizza chain goodness for me. But I'm also far beyond the point of reading Berenstein Bears. Now I'm into Twilight. HYUK HYUK

i love pizza hut, but since there isn't one in boston and i'm not going to drive to framingham, having these giftcards would be kind of pointless.

I like Pizza Hut and I like MCLA, and I like the SC add-on! But unfortunately the online/multiplayer for this game on PSN is so diabolically poor that I doubt I'd be able to take part even if I wanted to.
R*, Sony, sort it out!

This game is gorgeous. I play it more than Prologue or Paradise, because it is dripping with atmosphere. The dynamic weather is gorgeous, you never see anything the same. And the handling of the cars, and the in-car graphics, and the sounds, the mood-- everything is so top notch, including the wonderful racing and the game layout. There is so much you can do, or you can do nothing. And you always earn money and rep so even if you suck you can eventually get and fix up that car you've always wanted. The handling for every car is so appropriate-- from a tight Nissan with lots of shifting to a Chevy Impala with loads of torque that slowly sways up and down with the old springs. I was driving that car when in the background on a turn I heard the suspension creek. The sunset falls through misty haze, and in the distance all the trappings of humanity, the towers and trestles, and sometimes rain, sometimes fog, and the beaches, the cops, the pedestrians, the shops. It's a gorgeous game.

FYI for anyone going to look, it's only open to the US & UK, no Canada or elsewhere.
