Nintendo of Europe reps have called the recent release list with MotionPlus dated on it "purely rumor and speculation," reports Eurogamer. This news comes after reports last week that July 10th would see not only the release of the MotionPlus add-on, but Nintendo's followup to Wii Sports, Wii Sports Resort, as well.
The report also mentions Wii Fit Plus, a game/expansion/whozeewhatsit set to drop on November 19, though NoE makes no mention of the mystery title in the conversation. We've asked for comment from Nintendo of America and will update if and when we hear something from the perpetually tight-lipped publisher.

Usually when nintendo says "rumor and speculation" it actually means "we'll tell you in anywhere between 2 days and 2 months."

Come on Nintendo, just give us the release dates! With Grand Slam Tennis and Tiger Woods 10 just around the corner, they can afford to delay to much.

EA can be to happy about that, I'm pretty sure many will not preorder or even buy games like Grand Slam Tennis, before a date on or a release on MotionPlus is here.

Really? It was a rumour? I thought it was a sandwich.
Way to state the obvious Nintendo.

Muuwwaaahhhahhaaah! Nintendo Europe's NEVER gonna release it. NEVER! They're going to keep all the motionpluses for themselves, put them in a big pile in their HQ and curl up around them like a dragon does with its hoard, just like they did with super smash bros for Wii. I hear that they STILL haven't released that game... ;)
