Rumor: Three companies looking to purchase Midway

The sharks are circling! According to a rumor at Kotaku, Midway could get bought by one of three different companies. Like the belle of the ball, Midway is being closely examined by each of these potential suitors, who are evaluating the company's potential and examining IPs. These three companies are supposedly Ubisoft, Warner Bros., and a private Chicago investor, all of whom could receive a bounty of IPs upon acquisition of ... oh, who are we kidding? They just want the rights to San Francisco Rush.

The rumor also states that Warner Bros. is the most likely candidate, with a representative having already made the trek to Midway for a visit.

I heard the private investor in Chicago is zombie Mordecai '3 fingers' Brown. Really wants those IPs for himself for some reason.

Good game, there's one arcade near me that has Rush The Rock and two more with linked Rush 2049 units.

There's also a CiCi's Pizzeria near me with a CART Fury cab, too.

Actually, you can see who wrote each post under the headline. This is the only Midway post I wrote today so, yeah, not me. :)

Also, hasn't Mortal Kombat been effed up enough already? I don't know if WB would totally destroy it myself. /2 cents

Mortal Kombat and Harry potter in the same post yeah I guess I'll take the red pill now.

Anyhow Deception was awesome and better than DA in fact Deception shown many upgrades to the gameplay and it was the best MK game in the series after Trilogy ,personally I'll take Deception over Street fighter 4 any day but Armageddon's ambition of being the ultimate MK game was what ultimately destroyed everything that deception achieved.

So I guess I say that yeah WB would f*ck it up big time.

MK Vs Dc is pretty good and very enjoyable it could have been better if the story mode lasted more than 2 hours then again Dc storylines suck so hard today that a MK vs DC plotline for future comics would beat Final Crisis.

(Thank you DC for resurrecting Impulse now we can all say FC was a giant reset button)
