I really like XI - complete the tasks everyday when i come home...
...but the "old school adventure game" really sucks - I mean I'm using a frigged PS3 - I don't need graphicless games...

The most crazy one so far was the Caverns game, if you can even call it a game....lol it was like one of those "pick your own story" books from back in the day. I really Like Xi tho and I'm glad that it adds to home more than any other single space released so far....

I've been PS3-less for the past week (stupid YLOD) and will continue to be until next Tuesday but I haven't missed a thing... I completed Caverns Of The Bandit King before my PS3 died due to the glitch that allowed a lot of people access to the locked rooms.

At the moment I'm glad that I haven't missed out on much but if there's any "new" Xi stuff this week I wont be able to wait.

Dude, I just got the YLOD (power light turns green, then yellow, then blinking red with 3 beeps). Was yours still in warranty? Do you have the 60gB version? Maybe it's 'cause I'm looking, but all of a sudden it seems there's a lot of these faults appearing...

I've been PS3-less since the day Killzone 2 came out. Does that make you feel better?

I get why there doing Xi, i even respect why people like it, but to be fair, when I have something with the power of the PS3, it feels wasted inside home, id rather slap on killzone2/CoD4 and frag it up which is what i paid for the console for.

I agree. I would rather play some RTTS in MLB09, than run around Home. I'm not downing Home, but it just doesn't hold as much interest for me anymore... I'll checkout Xi, though, to at least see what it is about.

Xi is pretty cool. Gives me something to do and drive me crazy. I'm not to great at figuring out the puzzels and clues.

I wandered around for quite a while trying to find the third piece of the initiation paper, but couldn't find it anywhere. My PS3 was also acting weird yesterday, it wouldn't shut down until I actually flipped the power switch on the back. Hope it isn't crapping out, I've had it a little over a year.

Unfortunatly, do to a lack of forsight on nDREAMS' part, these spaces have been accessible to the public for a week already. At least three spaces suffered an early release do to some glitches and some testers inviting the public to the spaces. The invites got out of control and soon everyone on the forums had access to these areas ahead of the story line and original game design. Likewise, some people have even glitched to be severly ahead of the rest and some have already completed all objectives due to the glitch. Were from the looks of things, Xi will continue to reveal itself, I hope Xi can REVIVE itself! Recently its been sloppy and chaotic.

The basic gist of it is that it's what they cal an ARG (alternate reality game). An over arching storyline is presented, in this case there were teams of Game testers from the early days of Home one team has a little secret space of their own that has become public and now one of the team has gone missing. She's leaving clues around home, on the internet and in the real world the will supposedly lead up to something new about home or at the very least become a conduit for new features being added. Each weak a new mystery is unveiled and you have to figure out how to solve it which unlocks a little bit of the puzzle until it's finally done. Of course on the other hand you can just read forums as people solve the puzzles and tell you how to unlock things and just enjoy if as new content to play with.
