So, there you have it, Arkham Asylum will be better than 25 To Life, Chili Con Carnage, Daikatana, Deathtrap Dungeon, Revenant, Cutthroats: Terror on the High Seas, Fighting Force, Reservoir Dogs, Mad Maestro, Spider: The Video Game, Top Trumps Adventures: Horror and Predators, Virtual Resort: Spring Break, Way of the Samurai and Chuck Rock.

Start polishing those GOTYs, people.

Yeah, I was surprised to see Chuck Rock on that list. Is it supposed to be bad now somehow?

I actually don't see how any Batman game could ever be better than Chuck Rock. (not sarcasm)

Actually, all jokes aside, when I was little I thoroughly enjoyed Chuck Rock...
It was different from what I've played before at that point in time, and the silly humor was something I enjoyed at that age.

Fighting Force was pretty awesome, especially co-op mode.

Oh I stopped playing video games last november after hello! project got the best of me(Japanese girl groups) and I used to go on this site all the time but they changed the format now! Which isn't that bad though, it's pretty nice.

It's not just the format, everything's changed! The fanboys have called a truce and quit bickering, we all just intelligently discuss the video game industry now without investing our soul into one company. Justin swore off Blueberry Muffintops. Chris grew his hair back thanks to the lazercomb. It truly is a brave new world, welcome back.

Now don't go lying.

Yeah these format changes that will be coming last may or sometime in the near future are pretty nice or not.

Spider was a great game. Sad it never got past the PS1 platform.

Ubisoft is probably going to regret that statement when this game ends up with a 60% average or so on Metacritic.

Although I am looking forward to this game. Lets just hope that it won't be over hyped by the time it's released.

I just saw that Daikatana was on the list and assumed they were bottom of the barrel eidos games.

That's true they did it that way for the funny.

Not including Deus Ex or Thief there is a sin. SIIIN!

It's a high profile game, so count on it being over-hyped. Just remember who to blame it on.

Yeah, I don't think this will be a BAD game. It just have the possibility of being mediocre and repetitive.

Also, Justin, I think that your gag went over a lot of heads... *looks through the comments* Sigh...

But yes, Deus Ex is one of the best video games ever.

I dont know how anyone can forget about Deus Ex, to a lot of people it is the best PC game of all time, beating out Half Life.

Way of the Samurai was pretty solid.

I thought so, too. Very enjoyable low-budget gem.

There were talks of a 3rd Way of the Samurai for the PS3. I loved the first two.

No reason not to. Actually fits well with the older demo of PS3 owners.

Batman Arkham Asylum will be "one" of our best games? This is assuming that there are other games up there with this game. Gimme a break. Those other games are were all duds. If Batman is as good as the joystiq guys are saying, then this would be the "only" best game that they have ever had.

They can't not have a "best" game unless they were all equal in quality.

Justin listed all of those dud games to be funny.

Eidos has several excellent games under their belt. Thief, Deus Ex, Soul Reaver, and some of the Tomb Raiders and Hitman games.

Yes, Eidos publishes a lot of crap, but they do have several good games! :D

That being said, I don't think this game will be as good as the best games in those series, but I still have high hopes.

Last Hitman for the 360 blew, loved the rest.

Eidos has at least 2 of some of the best games ever made: Deus Ex and Tomb Raider 1. This game wont even come close to Deus Ex or Tomb Raider 1 since its not nearly as ambitious, it looks more like Hitman quality which would still be "one of their best" even if their "best" ranges from good to incredible by just a few games.

Glad they aren't setting the bar TOO high for themselves...

I liked a lot of their games but didn't love too many of them. But if I was marketing, I would not say that any new product will be ONE of our best games. Shouldn't you always shoot for "best game evar"?

Chili con carnage was actually really fun...

It was, actually. I was surprised.

What about Tomb Raider?

Saying its better than Tomb Raider would be a pretty bold move.
