Apparently realizing it's become de rigeur to claim that your superhero game is practically perfect in every way, the developers at Raven Software seem pretty confident in X-Men Origins: Wolverine. The latest behind-the-scenes video goes a step further than just claiming that the title will be the best Wolverine game ever made, Raven actually calls out all other games. Senior Producer Jeff Poffenbarger lays it on the line at the end of the video saying, "Every other game is like ... some pansy."
Oh, no he didn't. Watch the video and see just what Raven is talking about. Be warned though, the video contains some pretty graphic violence against melons.

It always focuses on how it's much more graphic than any other movie game, fuck Kevin Kelly onetime posted a comment how in his demo he literally cut a guy in half and that in one part with the helicopters in some video wolverine shoves a guys head into the rotors and it cuts spewed out
They are sounding like Silicon Knights & Lucas Arts talking about Too Human/Star Wars Unleashed... and what a pair of turds they turned out to be..

as for a pansy.. did they not play Ninja Gaiden or that game with Kratos (though I only played the crappy PSP game demo, I expect the console versions to be far better)

..I've heard of Hexen.. I didn't think much of it back then, played it back on PSone. As for Jedi Knight.. can't say I ever heard a good thing about those games.., I remember Quake 4 being rubbish too..
We'll see what happens with Wolverine.. if they put out a demo first..
If it wasn't because is based on a movie that used the pussray on Deadpool I might say I want to play this.
A game based on Deadpool would be a 100 times better and Deadpool is what the fans want...That or a game in which you play as Galactus and consume all the planets created in Spore.
I still do not like comic book heros...Or have anything revolve around that kind of junk....But at least they are doing it in good quality and not clogging up the market like other under grade crap...

Have you seen Kratos? I'd like to see Wolverine go up against him. Kratos would rip Wolverine's arm off then beat the shit out of him with it. Then Kratos would cut open Wolverine and let the Harpies feast on his entrails. And after all that, Kratos would go engage in a nice sex mini-game.
Kratos is nuts man. I don't think they were saying ALL characters from every video game are pansies. He's probably comparing their game to other Wolverine games.

Uhh, you fail. Raven goes back a long ways. They made the Jedi Knight series, for one, which was excellent.
