Dressed to kill: the main character of Assassin's Creed 2 revealed

You are looking at the main character of Assassin's Creed 2. According to our tipster, this image was discovered on the official Ubisoft forums before it was taken down. The high-resolution render is definitely authentic, and the character possesses more than a little resemblance to Altair from the first game. Looks like gray hoodies are always in fashion, regardless of the era.

Other rumored details have supposedly been leaked in early copies of the next Game Informer. ScrewAttack says the main character is Ezio Auditore de Firenze, a nobleman of Florence from 1476. Ezio is yet another genetic predecessor of Desmond's (y'know, the annoying guy that doesn't kill people?). You'll supposedly be able to swim and access a gliding machine at DaVinci's workshop. And most excitingly of all, you'll play through more mission types. Word of that alone makes us eagerly anticipate our next issue of GI. (Check out the cover, after the break.)

this was featured in the newspaper on Sunday with a ton of details being revealed which look awesome I can't wait for this game to come

Things that need to change in this game:

1) More Mission Types
2) NO MORE FLAGS
3) A freak'n skip cinema button for crap's sake!!!!
4) Better targeting system, especially for melee weapons like the daggers
5) Um...humor? Cause like the last game was like reading a freak'n history text book or watching a scene from The Ten Commandments
6) DEATH TO REPETATIVE GAMEPLAY!!! I mean there are just so many freak'n buildings i can climb just to get a birds eye view of more stupid citizens i have to save...sigh...
7) Less talk, more action!
8) More weapon types.
9) Better save system (who here had to restart a mission cause ya thought your game saved what ya did)
10) When cutting back to the present day, something else to do besides creak'n going to sleep!!!!

i think the story line shoud get get fixed cuz the last one pissed me off i meean wat u supposed to do after u beat the game cuz i went to the computer and found out sum stuff. another thing wat gonna happen to desmond miles does he die does he do any thing at all or wat cuz i want to see some1 get shot wit a revolver
