Why they would release this turd instead of Appetite is completely beyond me.

The other four original members want an arm and a leg in royalties. Axl wouldn't need so much, considering he is still involved.

I guess this is Harmonix's real competition against Guitar Hero, the album that made slash quit.

It's not an album I'd put in high rotation in my music collection, but when I listened to it, it wasn't as bad as I expected based on what I'd read on the internet. If it wasn't GnR, it probably would have reviewed better, but people were expecting AfD 2.0, and didn't get it.

There's a fair number of songs on here that should be fun on at least one instrument, so I'm kinda looking forward to it. Might eyeball the charts first.

"Next week's Rock Band Weekly will be [Axel Rose's] Chinese Democracy album, [Axel Rose's] first album in ... 15 years."

Much better.

I'll be getting a few of the songs. I really did like the album. Axl still has one of my favorite singing voices.

Ahahahhaha so many hate for GN'R.
Guess most of you havent even listened to the damn album and just hate Axl.
APPETITE FOR DESTRUCTION was released in 1987.... CHINESE DEMOCRACY was released in 2008! Stop living in the fucking past!

It is a surprisingly good album and there's a couple of tracks I will be picking up that's for sure.

In the end, Axl is the one laughing while your still living in your parent's basement!

I wonder how many people who talk crap about this album have actually listened to it. The 'Limp Bizkit meets Rob Zombie' description of the album's sound is completely wrong, and MystileArmor has no doubt not even heard the album. Sure, the album has a dud or two (for me, that would be Catcher In The Rye and Shackler's Revenge) but overall it's incredibly solid and probably the best thing to come out of 'mainstream' rock in quite a few years, as long as you can get over how insane Axl is and how crazy the process of making this album was.

If it wasn't completely obvious after the motherfucking Spongebob DLC that quantity > quality for Harmonix, then this seals the deal.

I'm looking forward to this. I thought it was a good album and I am from the old school era too. I'm not a fan of Toby Keith, but I'm not going to bitch and moan about them releasing his content from him. Maybe some people like him and it's good to see a wide selection of songs for everyone to enjoy.
