CAPTIVATE09 takes place in Monte Carlo, new game announcements imminent

Other items of note are new looks at Spyborgs (the "actually a game" game for Wii) and Resident Evil The Darkside Chronicles. If you're one of the lucky few already chosen from the Capcommunity (see what we did there?) to attend, make sure to bring your jewel-encrusted Wiimote and blood-spattered Tricell messenger bag, so you don't look out of place. And send us tips!

they said they would do resident evil for PSP if that one petition got enough signatures and it went WAY beyond what they said they needed. they're liars if they don't release that eventually.

Ultra Puzzle Fighter III Extreme Turbo, seriously I hope they do an all new version of that game some day. New IP is great and all, but if done right I think Capcom already as enough goodness under their belt to just 'redo' a classic.

If you clicked through to the link I provided with those quoted words (emphasis on quote), you'd know I was just providing context to what Spyborgs was since we haven't heard anything about it in a year and not "trying to encourage" anything. Honestly, Spyborgs could be really great! :)

Well... the Wii doesn't have too many games that aren't:
Minigame Collections,
Fitness games,
movie based games,
crappy ports,
or games that are decently executed.
Before you jump on me for bashing, i played Mad World and No More Heroes. THOSE were good games, and hopefully there are more like it coming.

Shows how in touch Capcom are with the regular gamer when they hold a Fan Day in one of the most exclusive and expensive cities on earth. Even the French hate Monte Carlo, for all it represents: tax avoidance, avarice, a disregard for the regular human condition. And Capcom decides it's a great idea to hold a day in this cesspool of stolen money? Then again, judging from the likes of RE5 it's not like the company to actually listen to its fans and take on-board criticism. They're well too aloof to hear our voices, and announcing a Fan Day in Monte Carlo is testament to that.

Call me crazy (and I'm sure some will), but I'd love to see a port of RE4 to the 360 with upgraded textures, control scheme D, and higher resolution. Shouldn't be too hard, right? I'd gladly pay $60, but $40 would be a lot better idea for them...

Don't get all the jerks that think taking a nearly perfect game and upgrading to two player co-op and HD graphics means the new game is bad. But hey... you all are welcome to your (incorrect) opinions.
