@Velsar

Seriously, climb down off the soapbox for a few seconds and calm down. First of all who cares about what tea bagging is or is not. It is slang, it may be immature or whatever you want to say but that is what it is called. It doesn't have to be in the Webster's Dictionary to be accepted, deal with it.

I don't know about you, but everyone else that I know uses slang in everyday conversation. Just because you refuse to accept common slang for an action does not make it an invalid term. At the end of the day tea bagging will still be tea bagging and my testicles will in fact still be my balls.

To the second part of your rant, you are calling people juvenile, idiots etc. but your response is just as juvenile. Grow up, it is just a game and most people do it in jest. I can't even imagine playing Halo if I was going to have a fit of rage every time someone humped my dead body. (Note that Bungie calls this contest 'Humpday Challenge')

You are seriously concerned about the image of tea bagging to the non-gaming community? Personally, I am a bit more worried about them attempting to make direct links to violence in games and violence in real life.

Which brings me to another point: are you seriously suggesting that someone who tea bags someone in Halo would seriously consider doing that in real life? If you honestly believe that your calls for psychological help me be pointed in the wrong direction.

I (and countless others) down voted you because your argument was nonsensical, not because of my own personal maturity level. Most mature adults can step back and make rational arguments. Not to mention mature adults can usually shy away from directly insulting and putting people down.

If you were trying to make a reasoned argument for better gaming etiquette you completely failed. You did achieve at complaining and calling people idiots, but not much else.

One last note on slang. It is an accepted part of the English language. Why do you think "slang" is a word? http://dictionary.reference.com/search?q=slang
You may not agree with UrbanDictionary(dot)com because it has offensive language, (check the dictionary, it does too!) but I bet you a hundred Monopoly dollars that you couldn't find a better slang resource anywhere. Furthermore, slang often becomes accepted into the dictionary. http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=googled http://www.fool.com/investing/dividends-income/2006/07/05/to-google-or-not-to-google.aspx (I even googled 'googled' just to provide an example. I hope your head doesn't explode.)

Note:replace (.) with . Only so many urls allowed.

Wrong...

Very rarely does ANYTHING slang become part of the accepted speech in the dictionary... and actually if it isn't in the Webster Dictionary then it by definition isn't considered a proper word or definition.

And no it's not that they'd think about doing it, but the fact that they believe that's what tea-bagging is meant for, such an immature gesture and thought is obviously only capable by an immature person of idiocy, not anyone with a degree of intelligence.

It is common for immature people (and it's not juvenile to classify people as they truly are) as well as idiotic worthless wastes of slime, to lie and exaggerate the situation so as not to feel guilty or confirm that they are in the wrong.

Slang is an inferior form of communication used to either escape the act of conversing or to demean or insult others via a quick manner.

It has no proper value unless confirmed by the Associations of Language, and when such is the case it is only done because of overwhelming majority wanting it as such, and after the word has been made into something "acceptable" by term and definition.

So no, you are in the wrong... and UrbanDictionary takes any word anyone takes and considers it slang, while that is incorrect, as only slang is slang, and all that isn't "pending" acceptable or denial by the associations is simply considered false-terms.

So, no idiots thanks.

Congratulations, Team Joystiq. :] The first three games were pretty wack. I would of laughed it off as I finally figured that there was no point in trying when everything was on THEIR side. (Unless you magically spawned over there and then the tables have turned, but highly unlikely.) Anyways, grats!

I can't believe you guys teabag. I had limited that behavior in my mind to douchebag 13-year-olds who do nothing but play Halo, but apparently adults find that funny. Pathetic.

I think a few things are missing, the 2nd game where it was 50-45 was played by a Pizza-man, a maid, a webmaster, and (I forgot the fourth, but the guys were eating Pizza)

The reason bungie "cheated" was because Dustin let them choose the gametypes, while he chose only the best members he could find, and bungie found their only comments were responding to his thread about rank, GT, and stuff like that.
