Japanese TV commercial promotes the PlayStation Store

You definitely won't see anything like this on American television. SCEI has just launched a new ad campaign in Japan that highlights the ability to download games to your PS3/PSP through the PlayStation Store. Guess what game they're using to highlight the service? Final Fantasy VII, of course. The PlayStation Store has been growing quite rapidly lately, but Japanese gamers have been slow to fully embrace the concept of digital downloads. With a more aggressive push (and more Final Fantasy), we're sure the market for digital distribution will grow as much as it has here in the States.
