Konami announces Ant Nation and WireWay

Aside from all the huge stuff (Silent Hill, the war one, etc.), Konami revealed a few smaller games at its Gamers Night event. Ant Nation is a kind of Pokémon/strategy/ant farm thing for DS and WiiWare, in which you train ants by torturing them with hammers, fire, water, and other annoyances, in order to strengthen them enough to survive against nature and invaders.

WireWay is a DS platform action game in which you control Wiley, an alien with the ability to launch himself around by bouncing on wires. It features both Puzzle and Quest modes, in addition to local four-player races.

WireWay is scheduled for a fall release. Ant Nation has no announced release date as of yet.

Just asking for clarification -

The Ant Nation is DSiWare correct?

I was really hoping for a SimAnt port or sequel for the DS. Spent so much time playing that game when I was younger.

That's what I though when I saw Ant Nation. I loved SimAnt, especially on the SNES. The DS would be the perfect console for it and if this is anything like it, I'm getting it. I used to sneak into the red ants nest, steal their eggs and larvaes and throw them into ant lions pit.
