We're trying hard to temper any excitement for Wetwith the cold reality that, despite looking like a lot of fun to play, the upcoming action fest is still sans a publisher to call its own. Even so, that hasn't stopped developer A2M from releasing gameplay showing off the game's high-flying antics, which look to mix together elements of Tomb Raider and Max Payne with a dash of Kill Bill.
No release date has been set, though the Montreal dev teases that Wet is "coming soon." It's good to see that even after being dumped by Activision Blizzard, going solo hasn't dampened the studio's spirits.
It looks like stranglehold with a girl... which is great, at least in my books. I'm a bit tired of 360's loads and loads of FPSs, so a TPS is more than welcome. Sword kills look a bit tame to me, tho. Hope the gal gets some nice, sexy alternate costumes!
Oh, and hope the game gets a publisher. Even if it doesn't do anything new, it looks pretty nifty.
I heard about this a few monthes ago and was wondering what happend to it,quite a suprise seeing gameplay footage. seems great, but i don't understand why is it called WET.
I'll cut to the chase: I think it's called WET because the developers know that gamers will fantasize about this virtual woman just like back then when Tomb Raider came out, hence the name WET
WET stands for Woman Entertainment on your Televison or something.... okay okay I got nothing, I don't know why it's called WET, I tried to justify it.
Looks like Stranglehold. The camera might become a problem and the bullet time will get old fast. I was expecting something entirely different when I heard the name WET.
nah....bayoneta will be much better than this...concept is good and looks decent; but it just does not have anything interesting to show in my opinion. unless the story is as good as MGS or at least very catching...and i thing that she gets WET by killing those poor bastards that don't event try to cover them self...
