Now, we know that Guitar Hero World Tour isn't nearly as a good as that other rhythm title, but if you're a starving faux-artist on a budget, you might be interested to know that Wal-Mart is offering the Xbox 360 version of the full band World Tour bundle for a mere $99. We'd rather see a price cut for that other game, but you can't really complain about all the plastic instruments you can bring home for that kind of cash. There's no telling how long this "Rollback" offer will last, so if you'd best act quick, lest you be stuck with having to pick up the other, much better rhythm title.
Oh, who are we kidding. Wal-Mart doesn't sell Gitaroo Man anymore.

I'm pretty sure they didn't roll it back at the store but only on the site. You can do site to store for like a buck but they won't match it in store.
Might be wrong though but just wanted to save someone a trip to Walmart..

Oh Please!!! When is all the Guitar Hero hating gonna stop? The instruments are way more durable than any other rhythm games' plastic. Rock Band dies have better songs (I admit) but seriously, what good is the song with plastic controllers. Guitar Hero brings quality gameplay, hardware, and experience. Stop sucking Rock Band.
P.S. --- Rock Band drums inevitably SUCK!!!! no matter where it is bought. Guitar Hero drums feel official. Guitar Hero is the best rhythm game since DDR.

No, the ION drum rocker drums feel official. After playing it for 8 months, then trying GH:WT drums, it was a mess. The only good thing about the WT drums is the midi connection, so you can use a real drum brain if you already have a e-drum setup.
And are you really saying the songs DON'T matter? So why bother with RB or GH - just play Boom Boom Rocket with your guitar controller...
Finally, my RB1 drums are still going strong. The pedal is about to give out, but the drums themselves are just fine. I go into a BB, RB drums still have four working pads. GH drums? Cymbals are broken.

There was a time I would have agreed with you and felt your frustration.
If I could have it my way The guitaring in RB would play like GH3s but everything else would stay the same.
RBs drumming is far better in my opinion, so is the song selection.
As far as World Tour goes, they dumbed down the guitaring, added some REALLY dumb gameplay mechanics and well, lets just say I'm glad and sad at the same time to see the franchise falling way behind RB.
Time to let it go.
World Tour is a second rate music game that is just a couple of notches better than Rock Revolution.

Target has been selling them at this price for about month here locally, but it seems to be in store only as I don't see the price reflected on target.com.

Wish we had such deals over here in Estonia... Haven't even seen the guitar bundle of GH 3 (!) for less than equivalent to about 110 $.

Wasted 45 mins at local Walmart because it didn't saying online only special on the website. It said Find in Store when I looked it up on my phone and told me that the local walmart had it and it was in stock. Get there and they are charging full price.
If anyone wants the phone number to speak with Walmart.com to complain about their advertising practices here it is. (Note if you call 1800-WALMART and press the button for Walmart.com it will spit you back into the main menu. Do it twice and they hang up on you.)

Cool. Walmart Brazil is giving a bigger discount though.
you can get GH:WT there for US$ 679.00, instead of the original US$ 873.00 regular price.
I kid you not. You have to be a friggin millionaire to play videogames in the third world.
