We have good, bad and ugly news today. First: the bad news, and any Stilwater 2.0 regulars should pay close attention because their plans for a return trip may have to wait. According to the game's official blog, the first DLC package for Saints Row 2 has been pushed back a week to April 23.
The good news is that gamers will also receive new character clothing with the DLC, which is already set to include new missions, pornstar assistance and the four maps shown in the gallery below. Oh, and the ugly news? Giant bunnies have been spotted near town and are poised for an attack. You should probably run for your lives.

I just picked this game up yesterday. Honestly, so far it's been far more fun then GTA4 and TLAD dlc...the kind of fun GTA:SA provides.

Indeed. I just picked this game up like 2 months ago and I really love it. It really irks me when I read reviews that basically boil it down to "Saints Row 2 < GTA4" when this game has so much merit on it's own. Specifically, it's fun as hell.
This DLC isn't blowing my mind but I'll pick it up to show my love.

The difference is that SR adds in the over the top crazyness that was not a part of GTA4 but was there in SA. If they were to have had that in GTA4, it would have owned all. The graphics are top notch, the shooting is better than the past. SR has the crazy factor. Add them in to one game and that would have taken the cake. I guess we can hope for that in the next installment of GTA. On that note, I do like the graphics of GTA better than SR2. I basically wish GTA still had all of that craziness from its predecessors.

GTA4 is as bad as GTA3 is good. GTA: Chinatown Wars has been the best GTA since 3.

I agree. GTA4 was fun but very serious compared to SR2, which is also fun. SR2 is crazy, not in a bad way but a very good way.

I really loved SR2... right up until it began crashing on me every time I wanted to play it.
Seriously, Volition doesn't need DLC for this game, they need a friggin' Title Update for the 360 version.

is that the show where it's like the CIA but some magic Italian guy from 500 years ago left all this cryptic shit behind that means Jennifer Garner is like the last descendant of Christ and her mom was a commie agent and there's this giant red ball floating in the sky in moscow making people crazy?

No, it's in the game. I've been there. Maybe this will help:
-Secret islands
Fly far off the west coast of the prison to find five secret islands. Their names are "Bone", "Lookout", "Ruins", "Ship Wreck", and "Super Secret".
-Hidden Easter Bunny
Follow the arrows that start on Ruins Island. Ruins Island is close to Super Secret Island, with the Volution Easter Egg on it. Ruins Island has an arrow that points to Lookout Island, then to a small unnamed island, then to another small island with an "X" on it. Get on it, and you will be teleported to a ring of arrows pointing to a floating Easter Bunny.

I remember the first time I saw the bunny. I bumped into it with my watercraft and tipped it over. It chose to immediately disappear. I've been confused ever since.

Underrated game, as has been said it is more like San Andreas than IV, GTA IV is a good game, Saints Row is a different kind of game. I actually like both, is that allowed or do I have to pick one console to play on and only one of the two games. Still trying to figure out the rules.

Played this a bit at launch, but just got back into it over the last week. I didn't realize how awesome it was before. There's so much to do, and I didn't realize that you unlocked powerful abilities and skills for every activity you do. The graphics and framerate (at least on PS3) may suck, but the fun factor and amount of content more than make up for it. I have close to 50 hrs playtime on it now, just about to wrap up the story. I really wish they would add trophies but I'm not counting on it. And I won't pay $10 for only 3 missions and some hair styles, overpriced.

This is a great game that is much better imho than GTA:IV. The coop is a lot of fun and offers a lot more than you can get in that other game. I'm lookinging forward to the DLC and will definitely be playing it some more if they can get the update out next week.

This looks overpriced....
I mean SR & SR2 were both good games, but DLC for something like this should be free since most people don't play it anymore.
Now if it were to say add on a big chunk of storyline and some new activities then it'd be worth it. Maybe for 400 MSP but definitely not more.

While I cannot say that SR2 is a better game than GTA4, I have enjoyed my play time of SR2 more. That crazy factor from the ridiculous side-missions and over-the-top style just make the game more approachable and fun than GTA4 could ever hope to be. The sad thing (for me at least) is that the gameplay of GTA4 is just better. The missions structures and the plot are stellar. If you could just combine that focused mission style with the ridiculous and crazy nature of SR2, you would get an amazing game.
