Sony asking if God of War III CE should include first two games

It's no surprise that God of War III will most likely be receiving collector's edition treatment. What's surprising is one of the bonus items Sony is considering: a Blu-ray disc containing -- it would seem -- PS3 compatible versions of God of War and God of War II.

In a survey sent to registered PlayStation 3 owners, Sony asks recipients to rate their interest in several possible bonus items on a scale of 1-10. Among the standard fare of "full game soundtrack" and "art book" is "God of War and God of War II on Blu-ray disc." That's a "10" in our book, not to mention a great way to make these games available to those who either never played them on PS2 or no longer have the system and whose PS3's lack backwards-compatibility.

gow 1&2 included would be awesome, but i already have them. i have no use for a keychain or neclace, but i would like everything else in the package. hope they support it with some nice dlc after its released.

If GoW1&2 will be on a BluRay, then it will be a PS3 game.
Does that mean it is required to have trophies?

I already have both on PS2, and my PS3 is fully backward compatible, but if they decide to bundle all of them in one, that would be huge. I have a lot of friends who used to own PS2s and moved on to 360s and never played any of the God of Wars unfortunately. Some of my friends are considering getting PS3s now, so this would be a great opportunity for someone new to get into the trilogy!

Yes! I never played the first two, only Chains of Olympus, and I don't have a BC PS3. That'd be awesome!

While they're at it, mention to the Ico team to include Shadow of the Colossus in their secret project, because I never played that, either.

I'd be interested as long as you don't break my bank account, i.e. no more than about $80, and no Gamestop stuff..please.

Hell yeah! GOW I & II with GOW III. I havn't played the first two and this would give me the opportunity to do so.

This would be great to have. i tried playing the first 1 and I couldnt. My eyes used to this gens graphics i guess. I'd love to play the first 1s or/and have a mini-movie that shows what i missed in the first.

Also, Sony better market the hell of this game when it gets ready for release cause they have been slacking big time w/ marketing.

This will be very good. While I played the first one on ps2 and still have yet to play the second one, i would definitely like the chance to play the first one again and enjoy the 2nd one b4 actually playing the third one

WOW!!!!! Yes YES YES PLEASE . I played a bit of God of War but then sold my PS2 to buy a 360 so I missed out on GoW2. Since I also have the 80GB PS3 now (no BC) I would absolutely pay extra for GoW 1 and 2 on Bluray. Please please somebody make this happen. The same thing for Killzone woulda been nice

God of War and God of War II on Blu-ray disc got my vote

I am a huge fan of the series and already have GOW and GOW2. That being said, I would still love for them to be on the CE of GOW3, also the graphic novel.

Why not put the PSP version of GOW on there also? They have moved a bunch of PSP games to PS2, why not have the whole compilation in one box?

Know what I'd like to see? A remake of GOW: Betrayal which came out on mobile phones for PSP. Make it a 2.5d game like the Castlevania: Rondo of Blood remake and put it out on PSN. I'd buy it in an instant, anyway.

Either that - or I could get a decent mobile...

GoW 1 and 2 packaged with GoW3? SOLD! Seriously, this is a no-brainer. Do I really want an art book or soundtrack I will listen to or view only once or twice? Do the right thing SONY! DO THE RIGHT THING!

YES, PLEASE add games I and II! I played them, but only parts because I never owned them. I would love to play them before I played the new game. I created an account on here JUST so I could voice that I would love it. I hope Sony is reading this!

Oh, please, please, please the first two. My PS3 is of the latest gen, so no backwards compatibility. I've actually considered buying an old PS2 just so I could play GOW and GOWII, but I think my wife would clothesline me if I tried to walk in the door with another system.
