Playlogic's hellish third-person shooter, Infernal: Hell's Vengeance, will be burning a path to the Xbox 360 on June 30. The title, which was originally released for the PC in 2007, casts players in the fiery boots of a man recently deceased who gets caught up in a war between heaven and hell. Painkiller, is that you?
What Infernal lacks in originality, it tries to make up for in self promotion, promising a "fascinating" story, "state-of-the art" physics and a "vast array" of weapons and powers, though we wonder if any of these can resurrect the game from the tepid reviews its PC version has enjoyed so far.

lol...bought this game thinking the story was gonna be somewhat interesting.
but alas, due to frustrating difficulty, and also the fact that i couldnt start my computer after i was done for the first time(yeah it messed with the registry, stardock or whatever the hell it is), it kinda blew off my expectations. The story started off pretty bad too, so that's also a negative.
maybe i'll rent this, just hope it doesn't brake my xbox like it did to my computer for a month

May want to rethink that title... I'm sure the last thing 360 owners want to think about is burning... Heh.

Seriously, I get voted down for THAT?
C'mon, I even own a 360 myself... Or can't you tell from GAMERTAG in my display name?

I tried the demo on Steam and it seemed very mediocre-fun. The only gripe I have is the extreme stiffness of the character's movement which is inherent to all of Eidos' properties. Using cover is a pain because the dude takes at least 5 seconds to STEP OUT of cover (instead of lean out, right?) and shoot off one bullet.
Does anyone else see the weirdness of Laras, 47's and this dudes movement? It's very uncanny and unhelpful and gameplay. They really should look into giving them the ability to move properly. It always reminded me of Beyond Good and Evil's weird way that Jade would do a double-take when she did a complete 180 while running (very real, but annoying nontheless).
