how do i rip games on my hacked PSP? I have it hacked but i dont want to download games illegally.

I dont wanna hear that Licensing bullshit when its a FIRST Party Title...SCEE had NO problem getting it on there...

easy. press select when you're at the XMB to open the VSH menu. change the 'USB Mode' to 'UMD Disk" and connect it to your computer. open the drive where your psp is and copy the only file there is to where ever you want to put it. then change the usb mode back to memory stick and put it in the ISO folder. you can rename the ISO file if you want.

I don't necessarily agree with the law but there is now way to rip something legally. By ripping a dvd or game you are violating the DMCA (digital millenium copyright act) specifically the section about digital locks. The specific section provides as follows:

TITLE 17 CHAPTER 12 § 1201
§ 1201. Circumvention of copyright protection systems
Violations Regarding Circumvention of Technological Measures.—
(1)
(A) No person shall circumvent a technological measure that effectively controls access to a work protected under this title.

it also states that:
(2) No person shall manufacture, import, offer to the public, provide, or otherwise traffic in any technology, product, service, device, component, or part thereof, that-
(A) is primarily designed or produced for the purpose of circumventing a technological measure that effectively controls access to a work protected under this title;
(B) has only limited commercially significant purpose or use other than to circumvent a technological measure that effectively controls access to a work protected under this title; or
(C) is marketed by that person or another acting in concert with that person with that person’s knowledge for use in circumventing a technological measure that effectively controls access to a work protected under this title.

and most importantly...the definition of circumvention is:

(3) As used in this subsection—
(A) to “circumvent a technological measure” means to descramble a scrambled work, to decrypt an encrypted work, or otherwise to avoid, bypass, remove, deactivate, or impair a technological measure, without the authority of the copyright owner; and
(B) a technological measure “effectively controls access to a work” if the measure, in the ordinary course of its operation, requires the application of information, or a process or a treatment, with the authority of the copyright owner, to gain access to the work.

Again, I don't necessarily think this is right...actually I believe this law represents an unfair and completely out of place extension of the Copyright Act...but it's the law and a lot of people thing they can actually rip games the own legally which isn't true! (although it is completely ridiculous and that is why we lobby and fight when congress enacts this sort of laws).

Hey, I know what you mean. I also want some (actually, a lot) of the great PS1 titles to hit the North American PS Store, too. It's a shame it's taking this long while the Japanese region is abundant of those classic PS1 titles, but hopefully it'll be out sooner than we think. On a side note, SCEA missed the chance when MGS4 came out, as they could have placed MGS1 on the store beforehand. They would have sold hot cakes but it's a shame that window of opportunity is lost

Thats why i still have my launch psp 1000.. still as new as the day i bought it and its hacked :D lol see what i do is i buy my games and then put them on my MS so there wont be any downloading :D lol

That's odd, I don't hardly use the tank at all!! I don't know why, but having to use two command points to use it always turned me off to it.... but even though I'm no expert, I still look forward to the hard mode quite a bit. I don't think Hard is worth $5.... but.... the game is worth way more then I paid for it, so I'm gonna buy it and hope it helps recoup some of the poor sales in order to encourage some sort of sequel (whether it's the same characters or not, whatever, I just love the gameplay and art style).

Chose the snipers, their the best to won this game :D

oh trust me, i use a sniper in almost every battle. marina is one of my favorite characters. i've been stuck at barious desert for like a month. i've bought every upgrade possible, did the skirmishes, everything. i still can't beat it.

lol marina is my favorite as well but to tell you the truth i still haven't made it to that chapter yet, im at the start of chapter 6 :P. i keep on switching between this game and disgaea 3. but what really works for me are the snipers and the tank

haha, i just passed the battle with an A rank! i only used two scouts and didn't even touch the edelweiss! that made my day.

ok... maximillion's tank is pretty easy but DAMN, i hate selvaria. she took down my two engineers that were backing up my lancers. i got screwed so hard because of her. she killed alicia and rosie too. :/

Just beat the other stages. Then go back to 7 when you're finally done.

7 requires a great deal of concentration, you just have to get used to the gravity changes.
