Why don't they just make it for the 360 then? The first two Syberia games came out on the original Xbox. Can't be that hard to port over a point and click game. Hell they could go 360 and Wii if they are having that much trouble with Sony.

Totally agree. I thought the first two on XBox were pretty decent and I wouldn't mind them keeping the series within Microsoft's console family.

If they do release part 3 for the PS3, then they should include parts 1 & 2 in the package. If nothing more than to contain my OCD nature of having to own all versions of a series on all platforms.

I wish more developers would release these types of adventure games (Syberia, Myst, etc) as they offer a nice diversion from the rest of the RPG, Action, Sport, FPS games on the market. It's nice to play a nice mellow game from time to time, without worrying about getting mowed down every five seconds.

@Draco Basileus: Agreed. I miss the days of Full Throttle, Grim Fandango and Monkey Island. Those would be pretty awesome on a next-gen console.

Indeed! Someone needs to go over to LucasArts with a pot of hot coffee and get them started on those GOOD games they used to do back in the day.

They should at least make it for the Wii. I see no reason why they can't.

Yeah, the Wiimote functions might actually be of use in a game like this. Other games seems to have no use for them.

Interesting to say the least...I would think the PC to 360 transition would be little to no hassle at all and cost effective.

I'm guessing its a little bit more underneath it all.

Actually the release/port to 360 should be really cheap considering the 360 uses a slightly modified version of DirectX 9.0c. I dont remember the last time I have played a good adventure game on my two consoles.

My only issue here is...having played and loved both Siberia's...they did sort of End the story at the end of the second game. Wrapped it up rather nicely, for the most part...

Bah, I thought this was about the really old PC/PS1 game Cyberia. Loved that game back in the day, though it's an unplayable joke at this point.

Same here. I loved that game, although it's been such a long time ago since i've played it. All I remember is a guy in a tight black spacesuit and the levels where you fly in your spaceship. That's all I remember from it.

I re-bought it a couple years ago in a long box for PS1. It's so incredibly dated at this point, but back then, the graphics were awesome and the game was fun as hell to try to figure out. I never beat it, but I got far.

Good to see I'm not the only one who remembers it!

He should totally lock himself in his room and write a blog full of insane rants that Sony absolutely *must* give his title the code necessary to make the game run on a real console.

Microids do great work. Why would Sony not want their games released in North America? Syberia is a solid adventure game -- although I found it a little depressing for some reason. Never played the second one.

Speaking of Microids, Still Life 2 comes out this year! Yay for me and the two other people in the world who care. ;-D

You're not the only one!
The first Still Life was a pretty good game that I enjoyed; I really liked the flashback contrast with the present day.

Sadly, I don't own a windows pc anymore. All I have is my Mac and PS3, so I'm doubly screwed for Microid games :(

Well, maybe I should read up more on things before I post, Still Life 2 IS coming to Mac!

I would still love to see Microid games on the PS3. I like having options for more than just FPS titles and helping Microids increase game development revenue for larger and well polished games is great news for everyone.

I've heard great things about the games, but haven't played them yet. I had Atlantis on 3 CDs way back when, but never got into it.

"several unnamed Microids titles including the PS2 version of the original Syberia"

Just wanted to point out that naming "the original Syberia" makes it, by definition, not unnamed. So it can't actually be "included" in the category "several unnamed Microids titles."

Im sure, like other developers, they are getting tired of dumbing down their games to make them work on the failbox. If the rest of you cheapskates would invest in real next-gen gaming, we could leave behind the Wii's and crapboxes and finally get on with some great gaming.
