Behind his crude stitches sleeps the twisted, Stygian heart of a madman. We've had the impression for some time that Sackboy possessed the capacity for terrible violence -- and a new LBP machinima masterpiece titled LittleBigRevengeonly strengthens our fears.
Produced by a Belgian amateur filmmaking crew named Seakitten Collective, LittleBigRevenge (which we've posted after the jump) shows us why one should never summon this incorrigible bastard into the physical realm -- and why one should never, ever mess with his ladyfriend. It's also one of the best pieces of machinima we've seen in a while. If this ain't crown-worthy, we don't know what is.
That was fun, but it's kinda weird watching a PS3 character lean so heavily on other company's franchises for gimmicks. Except for Shadow of the Colossus, there really wasn't any other iconic Sony imagery. Maybe because there isn't any? Or maybe he went straight to their 360 library for tools of violence because the only other PS3 titles they had were, like, Flower and... friggin... Rachet'n'Clank? Regardless, well done, you filthy goddamned Belgians!

I guess you guys are right, I was totally acting like a fanboy when I said there was nothing particularly iconic in Sony's current repertoire. Sony has a lot of 1st party franchises and so why would they need a mascot when all their first 1st party games are their mascot? Microsoft has Halo right? Now that Bungie is leaving them, what else do they have? Gears of War's Marcus Fenix isn't a mascot. What about Nintendo? Mario is their mascot. Look at how they've been milking their mascot. Yes most of the Mario games have been quality games but never the less they need some new IPs. Sony has the best 1st party line up this generation. You have to give them credit for building a strong development arm.
What made this video particularly funny was that back when me and my little bros had a PS2, we'd play "Eye of the Tiger" as part of our SotC "playlist."
The best part was when Koh Otani's SotC music came up. I love that soundtrack, and just so you know, it's called Revived Power (the song that plays when when you climb on to the second colossus)
This is so ghey, and they goofed too. At the end, the guy says "Wanna play Brawl?" If you look closely, you'll see that he's holding a GameCube controller. Brawl is for the Wii, not GameCube. What a bunch of idiots.
