The debut trailer for Fireteam Bravo 3 shows Slant Six's amazing PSP engine returning for a game that looks far more action-packed than the previous handheld outings. In addition to the standard multiplayer the franchise is known for, Fireteam Bravo 3 will expand the series by offering cooperative online play. This first trailer certainly has us excited. Check it out after the break.
SOCOM Fireteam Bravo 3 trailer: less tactics, more strike
11
PSP owners have been rather divided by Slant Six's previous PSP game, SOCOM Tactical Strike. Much to the dismay of series regulars, the military strategy game relied too heavily on "thinking" instead of "shooting." Looks like Slant Six is rectifying that for its upcoming Fireteam Bravo 3.

Not that you care or anything, but I got a PSP-3000 late last year, but it was stolen in February. I loved it to death, so anybody considering one should get one.
I won't get one, because of the rumored dual analog, slider PSP.
But still, a PSP-3000 is a PSP-3000, and it is a great system.

Would you like bugs with that? ;-)
The PS3 Socom was great, but it had too many bugs, rendering nearly unplayable. But a year later, it is pretty much all fixed. Just a very minor issues left, and it should be on par with other games in terms of bugginess. I really hope, however, that this PSP version isn't stuffed full of bugs as a result of a rushed launch.
I do, however, have confidence that Slant Six learned their lesson with Confrontation. And I hope they don't jack up the Fireteam Bravo formula "too" much.
PSN: CH1LL3R
P.S.: Why not wait for a dual-analog PSP? I mean, I always liked the way Socom Fireteam Bravo 2 handled, but really?

strangely enough, i enjoyed FTB original more than FTB2. it felt much more like a socom game for a portable system. hopefully this offers better offline play once you finish the campaign like FTB had the very indepth quick match mode. and online modes... well i've given up on the online for the psp. too many hackers, and the controls don't lend to intense play

Auto aim makes this game auto lame. I love SOCOM, been playing since day 1 of SOCOM 1, but the PSP really needs a second analog stick.
