Errrr, why isn't Konami into all this? Why aren't they suing anybody? Didn't they make Beatmania? And Guitar Freaks? And Drummania? And so on...?

Yeah, where does Activision get off -- and unlike GF/DM, IIDX actually came out here, so Konami must have some kind of patent on it.

That was a pretty fascinating read, particularly analyzing the points where Genius may be factual in the suit, but not exactly honest.

I kinda hope this drags on for awhile, I love a good messy corporate mudslinging lawsuit.
