Oblivion has stolen my life again. So between trying to finish farcry and preparing for another 200 hour trek through Oblivion, I won't have to worry about being bored for quite some time.

Forgot to mention that I won't be able to put too much time into games because of all the NBA playoff action I'm gonna watch. Lakers vs. Bulls is my dream matchup (2 favorite nba teams...bulls have no shot sadly)

Honestly I grew up a Bulls fan (Pippen & Jordan FTW) but as I got older The Magic have become my favorite team. This is because I am a native Floridian and lived in Orlando for about 4 years. I think it will be easy to beat Philadelphia and then if KG misses the playoffs we should have a finals matchup with Lebron and The Cavs. That is assuming that we can stay healthy and get to the conference finals. This year seems inevitable to see Lebron vs Kobe in the finals but crazier stuff has happened. Case and point would be The Cardinals almost winning the Superbowl last year.

If we can feed Superman the ball on the block consistently we can beat anyone 4/7 games. When we get into trouble is when we stop feeding the big man and jack up three after three.

Yeah I put a good 100 hours into that too on my first playthrough and another 30 so far on the evil side + the 2 DLCs. It's a better made game than oblivion, but it didn't hook me like oblivion did.

I knew it, Glow is slowly going postal. He looks down upon us all, and now he's armed.

(SR2, GoW2, Zelda TP, Rhythm Heaven, Fallout3) Reality is probably nothing but SR2 :P

Nah, got quite aways through, got sick and tired of the temple of the ocean king crap and stopped playing. Outta the blue, had to take my girlfriend to urgent care and I brought TP along with. She's fine and all, wasn't a big deal, but the waiting room gave me the patience to hack through it and get the 4th map piece. Now I'm happy and enjoying the game again :P

RE5 and expecting Madworld tomorrow. Also, regretting having sent Dead Space back to Gamefly. I shoulda kept it but I thought RE5 would be scarier. Don't get me wrong, I'm love it for what it is, but is there not one single solitary tense moment in the entire game?

Nope. Umbrella Chronicles is a scarier game.

In terms of tense/survival horror, Dead Space wins by a long shot. It's funny how EA pulled that off and still allow you to MOVE and SHOOT at the same time and NOT turn it into a typical shooter.

trying to get through resistance retribution (which is surprisingly hard for me to play for more than an hour) and valkyria chronicles. i got to the liberation of fouzen and the difficulty's been ramping up at an insane rate. i think it might have something to do with me refusing to win a battle without getting an A rank...

Hopefully they're all playing it. It was on sale for thirty bucks last weeks so hopefully some more people picked it up. As far as I'm concerned, any RPG fan should be playing it.

On the DS side of things I am enjoying myself some Chrono Trigger and Rhythm Heaven.

to me It depends: If you want mindless fun, go with Overkill. If you want something thats srs bsns (or you just want to play as Wesker) pick UC.

I couldn't tell you the difference between the two myself since I haven't started house of the dead yet but from what I have heard it is the better of the two.

As for my thoughts on RE: UC itself, I thought overall it was pretty entertaining but I would only get it you are either a huge Resident Evil fan or a Huge light gun fan.

I finally beat Bioshock and man, what a mind-fucking that was. I mean, sure, all the philosophy and great writing and creative things you could do to kill your enemies was already awesome but then they throw in the single greatest critique on game design and story progression and it oh-so-casually blows your brains out all over the damn place. Holy shit, what a great game.
Anyways, I'll be playing Halo Wars online (and by "playing" I mean "getting my ass handed to me") and probably some Boom Blox, Chinatown Wars and undoubtedly more Fire Emblem: SD. I also recently picked up Condemned for about $6 so I'll give that a whirl. In my downtime I'll study for my finals.

Well, it's hard to say. Fire Emblem is more frustrating because on Advance Wars your Mega Tank gets destroyed and you're like, "Shit, guess I better make another one of those." In Fire Emblem your General dies and you're like, "Son of a BITCH!!!" and you have to restart your game. So I think they're fun in different ways but both are worth getting.

Will be glued to my ps3 this week with all of the DLC they released. Main course is Eden Encore and Valkyria DLC. For dessert, a nice wedge of the Fat Princess beta. Though, I'm thinking of mixing it up and having dessert before dinner?

I got into the Fat Princess Beta through the USA Today giveaway. So, I guess I'll fire up my PS3 and download that here in a second.

Other than that I guess I'll be playing catch up on my back catalogue of games like Eternal Sonata & Command & Conquer Red Alert. Probably won't be playing many games with the NBA Playoffs & UFC PPV tomorrow night.
