.....or instead of paying 400-800 ms points (most likely) buy the genesis ultimate collection for 30$.... it comes with altered beast (arcade and genesis), phantasy star 1,2,3 and 4, comix zone, sonic 1,2,3, 3D blast,spinball, and knuckles,plus a few other note worth genesis games (personally i got it for vectorman 1 and 2)...but imo the collection on disc is a waaaaaaay better value and investment than buying these titles separately on xbla for 5 bucks a piece.... just my two cents

if they were like $1.99 or $2.50 a piece, it'd be worth it. I definetly do not need to spend anymore money or time on Sonic 1 through knuckles ever again!
Those games already sucked away majority of my childhood. I'd rather reserve my adulthood for new expierences or the most extreme nostalgia like comixzone/gunstar.
But I certainly don't need all those other games in the ultimate collection.

Why would you buy this when all these games are available on the SONIC ULTIMATE GENESIS COLLECTION?? (Yes....the true arcade version ALTERED BEA ST along with a # of other titles) Did I mention the easy 1000 achievement points?

True. Got a Platinum trophy two days after buying the disc. VERY easy trophies/achievements. And as mentioned, the collection includes both versions of the game.

The more Comix Zone, the better, though. Those achievements are kinda lame though. You'll get most of them just for finishing the game once.

Wow... I would have broken out Altered Beast on my Genesis had it not been dropped and broke years ago... Sigh, I guess I would fill my retro needs by playing some Toejam&Earl on my Genesis.
They need a remake of that, with online capabilities.
People could drop in/out of your game while your playing...
