I like the first trailer better... it shows a lot od differents levels... some of the stages have a very Mario Galaxy feel.

And the best of all... it's a $30 game

IGN review is up now... 8.5
Graphics are nice... sense of speed is great. Online mode is similar to Mario Kart Wii, which is very good: fast, no lag.
The controls are very good too and has a lot of replayability. The price is $40 just the game and $50 with the wheel.

Dude, the last time I heard you say online for Wii was fast with no lag was with Brawl at the time when it was god awful and absolutely unplayable. I'd like to be optimistic about online for this since Excite Truck is one of my most cherished Wii titles.

I knew a teacher shortcut back in the day on the good ol' monochrome Apple IIe, so I could preset which levels would appear in Number Munchers. That's hardcore gradeschool nerd cred right there.

There looks like munch more to the game than I had initially thought.
(Oh, yeah, a pun so bad I used it twice)
Also: Brocco-Lee? Awesome. Sold. Let's get this game out now.

Well there's another Joystiq blackhole vortex comment vacuum thingy on Chris D.
I like the art style and the presentation on this game a lot, however I still am not really seeing what'd make this fun to me. That's is one frightened piece of corn in the gallery.

Did they just imply that you *eat* the bosses? Because that is totally win if true.
Namco, two suggestions: Give us at least two control schemes control schemes (Default and Wiimote+Nunchuk without waggle and/or Classic Controller) and the option to disable the more cartoony and annoying sound effects. They might add to the game for some, but they WILL start to grate for a lot of people as well.
Those two very small additions would be a huge benefit to this game.

Does anyone else think this looks a lot like that indie PC game that came out recently?

I don't understand why people don't like the sound effects. They sound less annoying than the ones in Katamari Damacy. Running over 20+ people in Katamari and hearing them all scream at the same time is totally more annoying than these sounds.
Either way, I'm super excited for this game. I want it so badly. :(
