I remember when Midway turned me into a giant ape and I treated every city in America like a toy. I kept eating TV's and electronics that shocked me, but boy were those helpless women tasty.

Kotaku suggested that Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and Ubisoft were at the Midway offices talking buyout, and that WB seems to be on the inside track. I hope this is the case, I don't want to see those classic IP's strewn all over the place.

I think auctioning off the IP's to whomever wants them will be the best in the long run. Then a publisher can choose which franchise they think they can do the most with, and run with it without any other stuff that they aren't interested in bogging them down. Why would you want to inherit all that debt anyway?

Sumner Redstone is a thousand years old (give or take a couple of years). I'm sure he thought 'Midway' had something to do with one of those new-fangled Mutoscope machines.

Coming from an old fart, Midway should take a lesson from Stern, and go back to making only Pinball machines, to get back on their feet.

I'd kill to play a new Midway/Bally/Williams (whatever) table.
