There's a new deal at Amazon's recently opened Xbox Live Store. Right now, if you purchase 4000 Microsoft Points, you'll get $10 in credit on future purchases. Essentially, it's like getting another 800 points. For those that can't pony up $50 for the 4000 points, Amazon is also offering $5 in free credit for purchasing 1600 MS Points.
It's not exactly a killer deal either way, but it should nab an extra XBLA game or at least some DLC down the road. Regardless, given XBLA prices lately, you'll need all the points you can get.
[Thanks, Jonathan]

Buy 2 1600s, get 10 free dollars, buy 800 with the 2 $5, then you get 4000 for 40 bucks. Better yet cause it wouldn't require a future purchase. I guess I prefer savings now rather than later.

I guess you can only do it once. I was hoping to buy 2 1600 pt cards like Flex said but I don't think it would work that way. I bought a 1600 one so I'll give it a try again after I receive my $5 credit.

I'm no mathematician but 2x 1600 = 3200 for $10 over your 4000?

Oh it's nothing special, just know how to barter and wheel and deal with people. It isn't illegal and no, I didn't run and steal a bunch of point cards (besides you can't, those aren't activated until you buy them at the register anyways). But if you know how to make deals, then things just happen. I had 19,500 points, but I don't use them enough so I just finally downloaded Peggle and some DLC for other games, and now I am getting low at just over 15,000 points. :-)

Suppose it doesn't have anything to do with the sudden influx of 100 rank GOW2 players . . . would it?
