I put a lot of time into Police Quest I and II back in the day. I still remember the excruciating install times using those stupid 5 1/4" floppies. *shudder*

Gotta love the white suit and hat you'd get towards the end of PQ1, as well as your 3 pixel car. They did a good job on the remake of PQ1, too. Ahhhhh those traffic stops were priceless.

Was it the first one where you pull over that girl? I remember if you let her off she would give you her phone number but it was a wrong number later when you called it. Ha! And there was also some drunk guy you had to pull over. Man, I loved those games. Ah nostalgia.

For me it was the King's Quest series, though the second was kind of week, IMO. The third was terrifying.

Wow, this is fantastic. I'll definitely be checking this out. Hopefully they'll stay up and expand their collection. Hell I even enjoyed Conquest of Camelot and Codename Iceman.

Someone, let me play Jones in the Fastlane multiplayer, pleeeeease!!! Make it happen.

I still have the CD rom, it still works! It was one of the first CD rom games I ever had, the others my parents bought us when CD games first started were "Willy Beamish" "Inca" "Space Quest 4 (remastered)", and "Heart of China"

All were great except for Inca. Inca was... yeah...

That's pretty crazy awesome. I'll have to check that out. The whole driving around the city in PQ would be pretty funny in multiplayer.

Gotta love some of these old titles. Many of us put much of our wasted adult lives into these giant pixled classics!

Now if only someone could do this for Skool Daze it'd be great. I always want to play that game when I see it name-checked in an article.

So despite knowing this is illegal... Despite the fact games are cheaper, more plentiful, and easier to get access to than ever before... Joystiq really feels the need to advertise this? REALLY now?

Not to mention piracy sites (no matter how you justify them) rarely do stuff like this out of the kindness of their hearts. 90% of the reason most Windows boxes are virus'd up is because of this kind of behavior. There is a reason it's happening to Mac users now the exact say way. It works.

Why would this get taken down? Activision has stated they refuse to do anything with the Sierra legacy titles, and these people aren't getting paid to do this. Not to mention that you can't really get these games in any official collection (Space Quest 2 aside).
