Of course it will be, it's a Battlefield game. Multiplayer is what they do best, I couldn't stand the clusterfuck experience that Warhawk had, plus I have yet to meet someone else with a headset and well.. it's not that easy on the eyes either. You can't go wrong with this game.

I guess I will try and get the PS3 one, so I can split the costs with 4 other people on PSN.
$15 is too much for a game without a boxed copy. I need to be able to sell a game if I get bored of it.

You do realize that you lose more than $15 when you sell a game you bought for $50 for $29, right?

It's a shame it only has three levels, but I'm sure they'll bring out more and it does look like a lot of fun!

This is the best news any of you have ever heard, whether you played Battlefield 1942 or not. You don't know it yet, because you either have forgotten your roots, or you have never felt the BAR rattling off heavy rounds at your opponents.

This is going to rule. I wish I didn't have to wait until september because I don't want to play with a lame console controller, though.

Day one...on PC...I just built a rig and was looking really forward to getting this on PC. Now I have to wait (and most likely will buy it on 360 first) FUUUUUUUUUU--

Anyway, really want this. Can't wait.

P.S. BF 3 please.

I'm a bit dislexic, I accidentally read your post as Lego MGS. For a second I felt like something die- *gets sacked for giving the major corperations ideas*

I like them for fighting games, even racing games and other types of games, but, the FPS and the RTS are always, to me, mouse/keyboard. The wiimote in RE4, however, seems to be headed in the right direction, but, it's not quite where it needs to be to replace the mouse and keyboard.

Wake Island was always my favorite level anyhow...
I just wish the brought over the Desert Combat mod as well...

I remember trying to outrun a helicopter with a friend of mine on a jeep while he manned the rear turret. We basically we dodged rockets from one side of the map to the other since the guy wouldn't quit until a random ally in a plane shot him down.

Best moment ever was celebrating thinking that we had made it only to have a bomber drop his salvo on us the moment we stopped moving.

So I'm confused... is this the same thing as the "Free" Battlefield Heroes... and if not, why two different products that seem very similar from the same developer?

Battlefield Heroes is an entirely different game. It's a browser based shooter that's free to play. Battlefield 1943 is a shooter for the consoles and PC that is built off of the Frostbite engine, the same engine that powered Battlefield: Bad Company.

$15.00 is cheap enough for me!
It's when the game cost $40.00 or more that kills me!

$15 is a greaaat deall! I love the BF series to death and who cares it is only 3 maps?? If you have ever played BF 1942 then you realize these 3 are some of the best maps in any BF game! And yes I agree with everyone who mentioned BF1942 + DC Mod = Best Multiplayer Experience of All Time!
