NCAA Football 10 to feature platform-specific cover athletes

In much the same way that each version of ~~Soul Calibur III~~ Soulcalibur II featured different beloved video game characters on each platform, NCAA Football 10's cover will be graced by four different beloved ... football guys on each system. Michael Crabtree, Brian Johnson, Brian Orakpo and Mark Sanchez will respectively appear on the covers of the 360, PS3, PSP and PS2 versions of the game.

If you're unfamiliar with the players, you may remember them for their talent in catching/throwing/keeping others from catching footballs and scoring lots of points/keeping others from scoring lots of points. They are, obviously, the perfect choices.

First and it was Soul Calibur II that had specific covers, soul calibur III was PS2 exclusive

umm Justin... SCIII was PS2 only. SCII was the one with different covers for the three character for the three covers.

I mean, EA Sports is probably the most awesome game company- Nay! Awesome anything company- in the world.

I like this approach to sports covers since it honors more than one player each year, though I don't think anybody's going to recognize who is on the PS3 cover.

I will be buying the 360 version of this game. Of course, I am a TTU student so I'm a little biased. I was at that TTU-Texas game. It was the craziest weekend down in Lubbock. Wreck em' Tech!

I'm just gonna look around and see if someone photoshops it for the PS3, if not then I'll just print the PS2 cover and fix it to fit in there.

You can't really compare any of them, since they play different positions.

Only Brian Johnson (PS3) and Mark Sanchez (PSP) play the same position, where I prefer Sanchez to play QB.

My favorite player of the bunch, probably Michael Crabtree. He's easily the best WR in this years draft and always puts on a show to watch.

This is definitely going to impact my decision as to what game I purchase. I was going to go for the 360 version, but now I'm going to have to buy the PSP version because Brian Orakpo is on the cover. I don't even own a PSP, but it will be worth it because ever system having a different cover is really important to the game.

Its hailarious that Justin treats sports as kind of a neccesary evil.

This is off topic, but this is frustrating me quite terribly.

I can't figure out how to SIGN UP for a profile. I've been reading this blog casual for two years, and I've been commenting with different emails because I could never figure out how to change my profile or retrieve my password.

Well, now, I'd very much like to learn how. I've been searching for information on this on and off for a few months now, and I haven't found anything yet.

When I click on my name, it says, "No Profile Found," and I am not given the option to log in. What the hell gives?

Like I said, when I click on my name, it takes me to a page that says "No profile found." When I click on someone else's name, I'm taken to a page with their avatar, name, and an option to log in.

On my page, instead of all of that, it says, "No Profile Found."

I've been using the password I got from the email since March. I just tried posting through "New Readers" instead of through the "Returning" tab a while ago, using the same password, and I'm still without a profile.

Justin, you mixed up two of the players. Mark Sanchez is on the PSP cover, not the PS2 cover and Brian Orakpo is on the PS2 cover, not the PSP cover.

Since there is no Wii Madden game, there's probably no Wii NCAA game.

There is Wii Madden (even if the platform were a miserable failure, they'd still have to make one, as per their monopoly deal with the NFL Players), just no NCAA Madden this year
