I was hoping Section 8 was going to be a prequal or backstory to the Section 9 from Ghost in the Shell. This game doesn't sound as interesting as that idea.

In Ghost in the Shell, Section 8 is not a predecessor to Section 9, they're parallel agencies. Along with Section 6, Section 7, etc...

Why on Earth would someone WANT to name a game after the shittiest residents an apartment complex can get? If you neighborhood goes Section 8, you get the fuck out. Its that simple.

Pretty much. Right now the windows of my apartment look directly into the Section 8 tower across a one lane road. There is no greater joy. Section 8 is my game where I walk from the train to my building. I can't wait to move next month.
