Assassin's Creed: Altair's Chronicles now available on iPhone & iPod Touch

In the spirit of its titular character, Assassin's Creed: Altair's Chronicles has sneaked onto the App Store and ... well, it hasn't stabbed anyone, but we're sure the (approximately) seven-hour adventure has cut a few purse strings with its $9.99 price tag.
It's at the upper end of the price range for iPhone games, and since we haven't laid our mitts on it, we can't give you any guidance as to whether or not it's worth it. If you give it a whirl, let us know what you think in the comments below.

I was just thinking of picking this up. The reviews have been pretty good, but I think I'll wait to see what you guys think (if you've bought it).

I might grab this seeing as IGN said it was a improved upon port of the DS game for 1/3 the price.

I might take a look. I'll wait for Joystiq to iPhone it in. This does highlight an issue I have with the app store that I hope they fix soon. This game, and Trivial Pursuit which was released by EA Mobile today, are not on the What's New screen of the app store. Apple needs to get a unified release day for new apps, like every Thursday or something, and then they need to have a What's New page by category that is updated each Thursday. Otherwise you never find out these games are actually out.

That's why some of these companies/developers need to invest in a little advertising.

Why can't you just download it on iTunes and transfer it to your Touch through your computer? Slow internet?
DaveMcRae the Haiku Artist @ Apr 24th 2009 6:24PM
that would indeed be an option to consider!
Ranelar @ Apr 24th 2009 4:36PM
Bleh, I thought this was going to be a review. Trixors. Can't you just charge $10 to the AOL corporate credit card and give us a review McElroy?

"That's right," the man said. "I couldn't remember the word." He was the only t, then high school students, and, finally, to anyone aged 13 and over. The website currently has more than 175 million active users in amount of visitors, making Facebook the most popular social network, followed by MySpace and Twitter.other human at the loading dock this morning. The man didn't have a name, just a number, like the rest of the robots. Paris, at Night.
