Buy 2 used games, get one free at GameStop

The bargain hunters over at Slickdeals.net have uncovered a decent sale at GameStop and EB Games this weekend. The deal is pretty simple: Buy two used games (or accessories), get one free. The deal is even valid online, which is a nice plus. To apply the deal online, simply type the code "BUY2GET1" in the promotion box. Slickdeals notes that you can also get free shipping by entering the code "SAVER."

Given that we've more or less entered the spring gaming slump, now is the perfect time to pick up some older games you may have missed.

You guys better go to Best Buy this sunday (which is my birthday, by the way)...

There will be tons of games at just $10... I will pick Infinite Undiscovery, Pure, Silent Hill: Homecoming, Unreal Tournament 3, Jericho, and Soul Calibur and Quantum of Solace Collectors Edition...

I was going to buy Resident Evil 5 this weekend, but I guess it will be better to buy those 7 games for less than the RE5 Collectors Edition that I was going to pay.

It's not going to be worth it. There's been so much coverage of that sale, most of the good games will be gone within 5 minutes of the store opening. Plus, you'll have a huge crowd to fight your way through. Ugh. I'm willing to pay the extra at Amazon just to be able to avoid the pandemonium.

I'd take the opportunity to buy some games at teh cheapez, but I don't have enough that I want. I wanna rebuy Lost Planet, I want to ignore the reviews and get Eat Lead, and I'd like to get Dark Sector... Dark sector is like 8 bucks used, so that would be the free one. Laaame!

Or maybe Devil May Cry 4... Still, I can't help but think of how much less I could get this all for on eBay. Eat Lead is like a month old, and retails at $50, so I imagine the used price is no less than $40... It is going for $20 on eBay.

Gamestop had 2 blizz battlechests the D2 and WC3 each for $20 which is pretty good, but they were clearly open, used cdkey is what came to mind..... What pissed me off was they were marked as "new".

uhm, i don't know what type of special ed gamestop you work at but that would never in a million year happen at the store i work at.

gamestop has been doing buy 2 get 1 free's for a very long time now, if you couch potatoes would stop hating them for no reason and shut up you would know... and for all those little sissies scared of buying a used game, you know you can actually ask them to look for the best condition copy of the game you want instead of taking what they give you... it's amazing what social skills can do for you = )
