Isn't that the same Paper Airplane from Warioware?

I was about to ask the same thing myself.
I think it is.

So DSi Ware is where we pay full price for seperated Wario Ware games. Nice.

Dear Nintendo...
Please allow NES, SNES, Genesis Virtual Console games to play on the DSi. Yeah GB and GBA games would be nice to have downloadable, but you already have a ton of old console games available to download on the Wii through the memory card,so how hard is it to make this feature available on the DSi?

@Ryan

Yes, it is, from what I read.

Another bland week, but the SNES title does look interesting.

Everything but the WiiWare game seems to be worth looking into, really.

Isn't there a similar title already available on the virtual console?

What's up with DSiWARE? Is Nintendo only going to be releasing these "Mini-games" on the service? I just bought a DSi and was hoping for a little more substance from the DSiWARE store.

You haven't kept yourself up to speed on Wiiware, have you?

Right on!

I really would like the DSi a whole lot more, if it weren't the new shovelware platform for Nintendo.

Art Style Aquia is actually really quite good; I don't like puzzle games at all, but I fell in love with that one.

Outside of that though, yeah, I completely agree with you on the DSiWare front. People can moan about WiiWare all they want, but there were quality games being announced for it from the beginning, whereas with DSiWare the only game I'm looking forward to is Mighty Flip Champs, not just because it looks great, but because WayForward actually knows what they're doing.

I still see no reason at all to upgrade to the DSi. My DSlite is perfect for now, maybe if Nintendo would release something huge on DSi such as the new Zelda, I'd upgrade in a heartbeat.

Heck yeah! I used to love Glider back in the day.

Oh well. I guess I'll just keep not spending my free 1000 DSi points.

Sadly, that VC game isn't about the Halo playing Nobunaga from 4playerpodcast.

Cocoto Platform Jumper was on a bunch of other consoles as well.

It's like Rainbow Islands only sucky.

Another week, another load of 1st-party shovelware.

Release the classics, Nintendo! Earn back your fanbase before we all leave.

On the contrary, Nintendo should be very worried about capturing future gaming dollars from its core gamers. Core gamers can only take being manipulated for so long before their brand loyalty fades completely. While some VC classics have been released, there are many, many more that are missing. Every week that "Paper Plane" or "Cocoto Anything" substitutes for classic VC releases equals a failure/laziness on Nintendo's part.

The Art Style game is the only original game to come to the DSiWare as far as I can tell. I don't even care if they released a couple terrible games, I would just like to see more original DSiWare specific games, not watered down versions of already released games.
I still think they are waiting for October when everyone has either spent their free points or has no free points from buying their DSi after that point.

i think thats a good point, there has to a reason why its untill oct, i smell a new bundle sku, possible new colours , think about it, after october is november and comes into the holiday shopping season so by then they have to sway people to buy the thing, lots of people will want compelling reasons to buy a slighty more DS so thye bring out the good DSi Ware, and screw over early adopters with a better bundle maybe even drop the price since the 1000 points had to have factored into the cost

I am with you, and what you say is probably exactly what Nintendo is thinking, they know how to make the most money, they have already proved that. I guess I will be saving my points for a while.

that paper airplane game was a nice little mini game on Warioware (makes me glad I still own it). as a standalone game for 200pts, hmmm... not so sure about that one.

If Ninty was charging 5 bucks for this stand-alone WarioWare: Paper Airplane game, it would be bullshit, but take note; those'll be the best 200 points you've ever spent.
Yes, even better than when you bought Buddy Holly or something in Rock Band...
But I'm still not buying a DSi... yet. coughflashcardcough

"I fly like paper, get high like planes. If you catch me at the border I got visas in my name. If you come around here, I make them all day."
:B

...Yeah, I spent the money on getting that song over either of these two games.
