Ace Attorney Investigations is a spin-off of the Phoenix Wright courtroom adventure series, starring Wright's cravatted rival, prosecutor Miles Edgeworth. In this point-and-click adventure, Edgeworth investigates crime scenes in order to find the truth, presenting contradictions to material witnesses as they occur. Edgeworth can use a "logic" mode to determine connections between two pieces of evidence. When sufficient evidence has been gathered, Edgeworth faces down the suspect!

That there's confirmation the game is coming out. Winter release is quite the downer.

Winter IS a bit of a wait, but considering the wait for Apollo Justice, it's not too bad.
Did any one else notice they used a japanese screenshot in that trailer, at the end?

I still think that Miles Edgeworth: Perfect Persecutor would make a much better name...
Still, I'm pretty pumped...

....But since he's lost at least 3 times, he's hardly Perfect. But he's an Ace ^_^.

Since I'm currently going through Justive for All, this is great news. I sort of wish it was actually a game where you played as the prosecutor, but this still looks great.

Umm...that's what you do. Miles Edgeworth is a prosectutor. So it should be a given you play as the prosecutor, unless something went very wrong during development....

I think he meant actually prosecuting the witnesses in-court. Considering the game could basically be "Miles Edgeworth: Ace Investigator", he was half wright.
Wow, I didn't intend that "w", I swear! But it'll stay anyway.
I presume CAPCOM will give us much more information during E3, and, probably, a new trailer. If so, the last one (with all the main characters, voiced, though CAPCOM USA will probably put sliding texts instead of voicing anything) would be great!

Yes, I realize that you're playing as Miles Edgeworth, the prosecutor, but what I really enjoy about the Phoenix Wright series are the court room parts and it doesn't look like this game will have any of those. That's what I meant.

YES!
But why so long a wait??!! And why release it during the fall, when so many other games are coming out??!!
Anyway, the fact that this game introduces the two line text boxes into the worldwide versions of the Ace Attorney games is really cool. It's just like the Japanese versions now in that regard, although I can only see this happening in the Investigations series, since we need the extra space to see the scenery in Investigations, unlike in Ace Attorney proper.

OBJECTION!
We can clearly see that prosecutor Miles Edgeworth is very well represented. But you can't have a trial without a defense attorney, of which we have seen no evidence. How can you prosecute without a defense, Capcom?
(Heh heh... I've got you right in my sights.)

THANK GOODNESS.
My favorite character IN ACTION!
I'm a little sad for the lack of Phoenix-BUT IT'S EDGEWOTH. IT'S 350% WORTH PHOENIX STEPPING DOWN. AND IT HAS MORE...ACTION...
AND A CRAVAT.
EUREKA!
Now...the most difficult part...waiting.
Maybe I shall purchase a cravat.
