Looks alright, just a shade darker than the previous in colors used. Hopefully, the fighting system will be improved. The 2 button combo system wasn't really complimenting the gameplay any.

I was kinda looking forward to this game, but now the game just looks mindless killing. Granted the first dead rising vids looked mindless but when you played it there was actually a storyline. Hope this one does too.

Yeah, except the storyline you remember so fondly was a ridiculously muddy mishmash of stereotypes, rose-tinted ideologies and sci-fi flim-flam (a plague of zombie bees set loose because Americans are eating too much meat? Really?!) It's a Capcom zombie game, dwelling on the "story" is useless. Think Resident Evil...just sit back, struggle with the control issues, and kill kill kill!

As much as I tried to like the original game, I'm inclined to agree with you; the plot was complete, nonsensical garbage of a caliber that only an Uwe Boll film could rival. I still haven't beaten the game yet; Otis's constant calling and the pitifully stupid AI of the people you have to rescue basically ruined the game for me. I mean, just how hard is it to follow Frank closely as he cuts a wide, clear swath through the undead? It's not something you need a degree in quantum f*cking physics to figure out.
