You can get a free trial of Peggle Deluxe and see if its to your taste.
I recently got a laptop and have since managed to addict a good 15 people at college to Peggle.

You'll like it. I have it for XBL after hearing on a bunch of podcasts how fun and addictive the game can be. At first I thought people were joking, but I can assure you Peggle truly is a gamer's game.
Also, "it's" is the correct spelling because the apostrophe represents a contraction of "it is". Your iPod Touch was right; how could you ever doubt it?

I've never played it either, so I can't really say if it lives up to all the hype and praise everyone throws around on it.
I'll have to check out some gameplay vids to see if it's worth whatever they finalize it for.

This + peer to peer networking stuff in Iphone's 3.0 OS update should provide for an interesting time. Between this and worms, I think we'll have quite a few office "battles"

I played the demo on XBLA. Meh. I don't know what the big deal with it is. Drop a ball, hear Ode to Joy. Yeah, that's worth $10.

I caved and picked it up on XBLA recently. It's enjoyable, although I don't think it's complete crack as advertised by the internet. There's a little more to it than just what the demo offers.
It's a fun diversion and a quick pick up and play. Easy to get into it and play for extended time, too.
