PixelJunk Monsters Deluxe coming to PSP this Fall
Although PSP isn't getting Trophy support yet, Monsters Deluxe will feature a "Medal Challenge" mode that replicates the achievement system used on the console. In addition, unlocking Medals will give players access to unlockables, such as videos, artwork and more.
Finally, PixelJunk Monsters wouldn't be complete without a co-op mode. You'll be able to go online in both Ad-Hoc and Infrastructure modes. Nice!

Absolutely Positively.
And I own the ps3 one too. Don't even care about repeated material. Its annoying to have to be on a wifi for my psp to play monsters right now t.t

The psp announcements are getting a little out of control now (not that i mind of course). I thought the head of the PSP department said they were saving most of the remaining big game announcements for E3? If that's still true....I don't think I can handle the amount of psp games coming this year.
Black Mage @ Apr 29th 2009 3:31PM
John Koller has guaranteed that the year of the PSP is upon us. The list of games is growing every week with new titles and promised games, a REAL firmware update, and the teaser of friend lists on the PSP.
VIVA LA REVOLUCION!
Doug @ Apr 29th 2009 4:32PM
E3=PSP2. Most likely, I really hope so cause Dual Analogs would be nice, or even a touch screen.
Sony is doing very well for themselves. YAY SONY!

Good Stuff I hope its on PSN as a download, and NOT Just UMD.
THE Ezio Auditore de Firenze (PSN slycooper_rocker) @ Apr 29th 2009 5:38PM
isn't it only download?
Chris D.(PSN: Aggie_CEO | XBL:The Aggie CEO | Steam: Aggie_CEO @ Apr 29th 2009 5:46PM
not sure. I thought I read somewhere a while back that it might be UMD...
JDHexen @ Apr 29th 2009 1:14PM
Wtf is going on here!.Did the people in charge of the PSP department get lucky or win the lottery or some thing. If this continues the psp lineup is going to overtake the consoles.
Levi @ Apr 29th 2009 1:42PM
Everyone with a PSP should buy this game if you haven't on PS3 already. It is miles better than every other tower defense.
why not the LS2LS7? @ Apr 29th 2009 1:48PM
PSP nooooooooooooooooooooooooo.
I need more Monsters on PS3!
Hashbrown Hunter @ Apr 29th 2009 1:57PM
There wouldn't be this many AAA PSP announcements unless something big was happening.
PSP Go! is almost definitely happening at this point.
Doug @ Apr 29th 2009 4:34PM
Or PSP2. Which is more probable, but even more probable than the former probable statement is the probable realase of Go! and PSP2.
Randall Hopkins @ Apr 29th 2009 2:47PM
Instant buy.

Can't we already play all of these on the PSP via Remote Play?
Dirty @ Apr 29th 2009 3:07PM
It really doesn't translate well. Very hard to see stuff on the small screen. Not that you couldn't play it, its just not very easy to do so.
TM @ Apr 29th 2009 2:39PM
I think the psp drought is over....for now
aristokrat @ Apr 29th 2009 2:46PM
Wait, is trophy support coming to PSP? My addiction is about to get a lot worse...
InFaMoUs1- @ Apr 29th 2009 2:49PM
read the article -_-'
aristokrat @ Apr 29th 2009 2:55PM
Yeah, I read this article, and it just says that PSP isn't getting Trophy support YET. I don't recall ever hearing that the PSP was getting Trophy support, and this statement implies that that might happen. Clicking on Trophy support merely takes me to Joystick's trophy list.
David Black @ Apr 29th 2009 3:25PM
Hopefully by the time this comes out my wife will have cured her Locoroco addiction and I will be able to steal my PSP back and satiate my thirst for tower defense.
THE Ezio Auditore de Firenze (PSN slycooper_rocker) @ Apr 29th 2009 5:38PM
infrastructure co-op? BUY!
green11420 @ Apr 30th 2009 7:02AM
Even more reason for me to rebuy a PSP! Monsters was in my opinion, grossly underrated. The game play would fit really well on the PSP!
Ethil @ Apr 30th 2009 10:12AM
No, seriously, this is insane.
When I first read that 2009 would be the year of the PSP, I thought it was some kind of joke. Like, two good games in the whole year and that would be it.
But that's a FLOOD of great games coming on the PSP. It is insanely great.
Courtney @ Apr 30th 2009 11:16AM
Any chance we'll see the extra content dropped as more DLC for the PS3 version?
flexo @ May 3rd 2009 12:37AM
loved it on the PS3 and will also love it on the PSP!
one question, why dont they add online CO-OP play to the PS3 version?
been waiting for that for a while now.
