Both bundles are $399 Canadian. One has 2 games, one has 1 game. What I said in the post that the bundle with 2 games is better than this bundle with 1 game.

i was really only combining the fact that the 360 price continues to drop along with the recent forum where sony said they will dominate in 3-5 years..

the 360 continuing to drop in price and added bundles has to do with the fact that the ex sony exec. was completely wrong in feeling that the ps3 will dominate in 3-5 years.
since a new forum is made every few minutes its easy to combine topics and talk about a group of forums also...

1. The reason you were trolling is because you brought up the PS3 when it has nothing to do with the cost of an Elite 360. Thats the definition of trolling.

2. Sony didn't say anything about dominating in 3-5 years. Ex SCEE head David Reeves said that he feels Sony will be "dominating" in 3-5 years. Thats completely different than SONY having a press conference to announce such a thing. I'm not sure if you always intentionally misrepresent what myself and others say but that brings me to my final point.

3. You need to understand the difference between making deductions on your own and comprehending what someone else is actually saying.

elite bundles sound good.
by the time you get a 120gb drive + the games you spent more than $ 400 so it only makes sense to buy an elite bundle now.
if you bought an arcade you would add hd cable, headset, and etc...

makes good business sense to always have a good lineup of games bundled with your most expensive console offering.
it allows ms to offer the cheapest HD gaming console, a mid-range offering, and a premium package with games.

the elite bundles have been tempting me. but since i have no source of income, i can't afford the 2 game bundle and live. :/

my ps3 will serve me well until i can save up some kaching for the elite.

It's not a bad deal, it's just not as good, and certainly not as good as it could have been if it were packed in with Lost and Damned as well. Also, GTA4 can be found for much cheaper than Halo 3 and Fable 2 at the moment.
