Though its highly anticipated, National Treasure meets Duke Nukem shooter The Conduit has yet to hit store shelves, High Voltage Software is already teasing the big E3 reveal of two new Wii-exclusive titles. According to French gaming site Nintendo Master's recent interview with Voltage's Eric Nofsinger, the developer is cranking out another FPS (one with even stronger visual tech than The Conduit), and another title which is "a different kind of a thing." You know what that means? Equestrian breeding sim. Check out the video interview after the jump!

You've got to be kidding me. I've been further even more decided to use even go need to do look more as anyone can. Can you really be far even as decided half as much to use go wish for that? My guess is that when one really been far even as decided once to use even go want, it is then that he has really been far even as decided to use even go want to do look more like. It's just common sense.
I decided to use even go want to do look more like before it was cool to use even go want to do look more like. I have even really been far even as decided to use even go want to do look more like, that I stopped doing look more like a long time ago, and now I just use even go want to do look more like with scissors, a box set of Kenan & Kel on DVD, a 4 gigabyte SD card, and a frayed ethernet cable.

If they can make the next two even a little less generic than the conduit, then I guess that's a win for everyone.

i don't think the generic-osity of the conduit matters to wii gamers who are interested in it. it shows that core gaming is still there. like a beacon of hope if you will. it doesn't look impressive at all when compared to killzone 2, or halo 3, etc. but for the wii, i see where the hype came from. and admittedly, it looks fun.

name one game that you think will be good and let all of us just make stupidass comments about it that have no real backing.

No no no, according to Levi and others (including the desperate for anything good nintendo fanboys) you're not allowed to say a game looks bad after seeing it in motion, only that it looks good.

Like that guy right there. It's called watching the gameplay videos.
And if anyone says that doesn't count, then I don't ever want to hear any of you say "wow this game looks good" after seeing a gameplay video.

tbag, I never said it wasn't generic, but I hate it when people act like they know exactly how good or bad a game is because they've seen screens and a couple trailers. Give me a break dude. You know what? All of the Halo games look generic, Killzone 2 looks generic, Gears of War looks generic... Catch my drift? Your statement was basically, "I saw this game on Gametrailers, it toally sucks. Hope their other games don't suck as bad as this one."
Well, I guess we should all stop reading reviews and just listen to tbag over here. He gives games scores **into the future**

Ok levi, I sure hope you aren't caught saying how good a game looks after seeing a trailer. That would be awfully hypocritical of you wouldn't it?

You've lost me two comments ago. And to reiterate what some have already said, how can you base that a game is generic only having seen vids.

That reply got tied up in the internets. Now I have to reply to your fresh replies.
There's a difference between saying something looks good or looks bad. That is an opinion. You made a statement that involved what you believed to be a fact, and that is why it was incorrect. You have not played the game, and while it might LOOK generic to you (which I just pointed out doesn't mean it's bad), you don't know just how generic an entire game is from a few screens and a trailer or two.

@levi
that's where experience comes into play. I've been a gamer for far too long to not pick up on patterns. This game will be generic from start to finish, and I can say that with complete confidence that I'm right because I have been so many other times before when I said game x will be meh

Experience? You my fiend are delusional, and just because you have played other games doesn't mean that you are experienced to know when another game will fail. Then I cannot have a viable conversation with you. You don't know how good the game is going to be until you play it. Period. If you honestly think otherwise, you are screwing yourself as a gamer out of possible great games, and playing right into the hands of the bigger publishers. There are probably plenty of games you've missed out on---
wait, why am I wasting my time here?

I haven't missed out on anything, because when I choose to make a statement like that about a game I play it to see if I'm right. I'm not claiming I'm right 100% of the time, but I would say I have been about 75% of the time. Of course I will rent the conduit to see if I'm right, I'm just throwing my prediction out there because...well it doesn't do any good to predict after you play it.
@Archgamer
eradicated? You need to grow up and deal with the fact that not everyone agrees with you. You can call names all you want, but if you think having years of experience playing games and following games doesn't make a difference in having an instinct then you my friend, are the idiot.

I'm 23, and I really think this game can go either way judging from what I've seen so far.
Either way, it seems your wording is what really threw me off. If you are simply making a prediction or voicing your opinion, sorry I jumped down your neck. The way you worded it made it sound like you are already certain the game will suck, instead of think it will suck. W/e dude, I just can't wait for the next Powerpuff Girls game. I already know it will be good ^_^

I'm 19, i go with my gut, and i've only been wrong once or twice. My taste in FPSes is admittedly unrefined, but this game looks like it'll scratch the FPS itch neatly
How it'll play with the FPS crowd is the big question, but it looks to be gaining an appropriately positive outlook

Anyway, Khan if you have the means someday check out The Darkness. I'm generally not too into FPS games at all, but really loved that one. Great story, and the darkness powers add a unique gameplay mechanic.

HVS is a visual effects company who happens to make video games. They have yet to make a quality piece of software. Maybe the Conduit will be good, but I will not hold my breath.
Once they prove they can make a good game I might care about their E3 announcements.
The Conduit will need to be a good shooter and not just a good shooter on the Wii to gain my respect. Not that my opinion means much, but it is just an opinion. BTW I hope the game is good.

Wow they only have 2 games with an average over 80, and people are excited that the conduit will be great? I kid, since I don't believe in developer history factoring into a current game, but I've seen many nintendo fanboys on here tout how important history is.

This is the first big game that they are doing all by themselves. That's why they started doing the game before they had a publisher.
Past publishers paid them to develop the previous games.

I care less of what you really think of any game I seem to like, its your opinion, the only real thing that bothers me is that just because you follow games doesn't make you an expert. Just because you have played so many games doesn't give you the right to say a game will fail. Its admirable that you think just you have seen it before it bound to happen it gives you the balls to claim "Fail" on a game you haven't tried or played at all. I have been playing games as far as I can remember, but that does not give the privilege to call myself an expert.

Strange, I don't recall saying I'm an expert in anything. All I said was that I'm really good at predicting how good or bad some games will be ;)
I can't really explain my talent any more clearly than I did. I mean, if I've been right 3/4 of the time then I think I can place a little trust in my instincts. I said I'll play the game, and if I'm wrong I will man up and say I'm wrong.

Looking at the list of titles from that page, most of it was licensed crap that will get a low rating regardless of the developer.
Looking at the platforms they've developed for, it seems they've excelled at Gamecube ports which means they are familiar with the hardware and know how to push it. This means they should have no problem pushing the Wii properly. They did the COD2 port so they do have a quality FPS background. That got a 79%.
Color me optimistic.
Here's what I like about the game: it has Metroid-like puzzles and Deus Ex-like plot = EPIC WIN!
