Wolverine demo available now on Xbox 360

It appears the demo for X-Men Origins: Wolverine is available now on Xbox 360. Go experience the thrills of watching Wolverine cut bad guys into meaty chunks and shove them head-first into ... well, you'll see. Don't be fooled, gamer parents out there: Activision may have the PG-13 rated movie's title on the box, but this game is certainly rated Mature and likely not suitable for the kiddies. Definitely take Wolverine for a test drive if you're up for an intense God of War experience set in the Marvel universe.

I only have the demo right now, but as far as I can tell it's great. The combat is really good, it flows well, it's incredibly cinematic and the animations are great, and there's just a special realistic flair to it. Like when a guy jumped at me to do an attack I pressed B and I grabbed him out of the air and did a separate animation than if I were just grabbing him or even if he had just been knocked by an attack. Best of all, it's not even the QTE fest I expected, it still has QTEs but not really. They are separate little sequences, but it's not a PRESS A sorta deal, it lets you figure it out yourself, and there are more than one choices

It still kind of depresses me that this game had to be the cover story of the last EGM. No matter how good this game turns out to be (better than most movie games from the looks of it, but still a simple brawler) it would have been nice for the magazine to go out on the planned Street Fighter IV cover just because the Street Fighter series has so much importance in the industry.

it's alright, definitely not as good as the developers were hyping it up to be in my opinion.

saw the movie last week, and it was so over the top it made a better comedy. A lot of people will love it, but I could never understand why.

I haven't been on Xbox Live for a while, been mostly on PSN, so coming back, with a Silver account, it's been pretty shocking. No online gaming, even no leaderboards in some cases.
Worst of all, demos show up as available, until I try to download them. "Gold Members Only. Move along. Move along."
But these are the droids you're looking for. Take 'em. I want the demo.

Game is repetitive and boring. Definitely a failure in my opinion.

I gave this a try...pretty much God of War with different skins. It was fun during the demo but I don't know if it would hold my interest for more than a few hours of play.
Cinematics are gorgeous, but the slow-mo fight moves sometimes interrupt the flow of the fighting. Camera seems to be too far away during a lot of the fights.

I had some kind of rock get attached to me (a few feet behind Wolverine) that floated in the air and followed me around for about the second half of the demo. Pretty funny.
I like the idea of this game, but it didn't grab me as much as I wanted. All the points for doing things flashing over the characters was a weird design choice for a gritty game like this for one thing.
I do like games like Ninja Gaiden with a strong combo system and this seems to have that.
Don't think I'll buy it right off, but may try it down the road if I find a deal.
