Marvel vs. Capcom 2 teaser has 'the touch, the power'

Capcom, you clearly dropped the ball the first time around. The above trailer for Marvel vs. Capcom 2 is just about the same as the trailer you already saw here, but with one important improvement: Stan Bush's "The Touch." We felt this trailer just had to be posted, as Stan's melodic interludes accompany the snikting and hurricane kicking so well.

So, feast your eyes on the above footage from the PSN and XBLA brawler, and if you're a PS3 owner, download the demo already!

And by the way, I love that song. Its the song from the original cartoon Transformers movie. Were Optimus goes through half the decepticons and fights Megatron at the beginning of the movie. Classic for me at least. Corny song, but still classic.

Played the PS3 demo, AMAZING conversion. Will buy on day one for sure, maybe for both consoles. :)

Capcom already used that song for two trailers for SF2 HD Remix. What's annoying is there were supposed to be three of them, the end of the second one says to be continued. They never did the third one.

Two bad there isnt any transformers in the game despite that Marvel did ''charaacter design'' for the transformers; l know that most of the transformers toyz were taken from 2 or 3 japanese series, but marvel redesign a few tf for the comics

Actually, wasnt this song in the Transformer's original animated movie? I remember the cheese well... though it seems perfect to my mind. I think it was when you saw Hot Rod the first time

The "Touch" was created for the TF movie, though it has later turned up in Booogienights and the office.

That is why l mentioned TF in this topic.

Yeah, the DC, PS2 and Xbox releases were really exciting way back when.

I would have said this was the coolest trailer ever, then I saw the new Brutal Legend trailer. That's awesome too.

i was half tempted to buy this, but after they burnt me with SSF2THDR theres no chance. They reaaly need to focus more effort on getting that game WORKING before releasing another half finished game. Mark my words... itll have major online issues from day one that will never be fixed.

That's definitely not the same recording that appeared in The Transformers: The Movie, but I really like the new percussion sound... anyone have any details on where this might be available in full?

As someone who can quote the ENTIRE original Transformers Movie, including sound-effects and lyrics, i can say without a doubt, this is a re-recording.

In fact, as someone who knows the lyrics, instead of the first verse of the song like they used in the Transformers Movie, it's the 2nd verse instead, which is why the lyrics sound new (to me anyway).

Dammit now I want Optimus Prime in the game.

And his special would be transforming into a truck and ramming the enemy.

But my mind phases out and all I see and think about it Transformers when I hear that tune. Loving the New mix ,. but Sorry there's nothing that could ever break my minds mental link of that song to Transformers

You guys going to do a post about how the PS3 demo only allows local multi player. No online, no single player, no nothing. You must have a second controller to even try it. EPIC FAIL on Capcom.

SO MUCH THIS. we don't have a 2nd PS3 controller in the house yet, so that's 10 minutes of my life I'll never get back.

Knowing Capcom they''ll probably charge $5 to unlock the single player portion of the demo.

I see Tim Parsons and I think Tim Rogers, Tim Rogers from Action Button. The lack of beautifully illogical, rambling paragraphs should be the key indicator. As should the name.

I'm guessing this is his new "Killer Version" which he recently recorded for Transformers 2.

It looks ramshakle, but it's actually a good site. One of the few places that has managed to call out Far Cry 2 for what it really is: "another Ubisoft game where they a had a good 2-3 hours of game stretched out to, hell did anyone have the patience to figure out how long that game really went on for?"

Not to focus on scores too much, but their one star rating seemed correct to me.

One of my favorite fighting games out there.

Stan Bush rerecorder it and has called it the "Killer Version" and he hopes bay will include it in transformers2 , either way he will be performer it at the next Botcom
