I hope it's for ps3 too just so I don't have to hear anymore fanboy crying. Pretty dumb considering the first 3 were announced for pc and 360 a long time ago, yet each time one came out there was whining and crying everywhere.

Why wouldn't there be whining? Fallout 3 is a great game and us PS3 gamers feel left out.

If I only had a PS3, I would be ticked off as well. I only have a PC and I'm upset I can't play games like Metal Gear Solid 4, LittleBigPlanet, Uncharted, Rachet and Clank, etc. But I then enjoy the games that are exclusive to my system and console ports as well.

PS3 owners still have plenty of exclusive and upcoming exclusive games I know 360 owners would like to have on their system.

Don't you even have enough decency to be ashamed at this point to use a handle that equates Tracy McGrady with Michael Jordan?

I mean, I remember a Joystiq poster in 1929 who went by the handle, ILuvAdolfHitler. It as all fun and games then, but damn, by 1943 even he got a clue and was embararassed enough to quietly change it to CitizenKaneFanboy or something.

By the way, if you run across your buddy T-Mac, please tell him thanks for finally getting my beloved Rockets out of the first round.

By staying as far away from the team as fucking humanly possible.

You know, as long as the DLC is decent, they could do this for a long time and I'ld be fine with it. The last 2 packs very much so were worth the money, and it looks like Broken Steel will be an even better prospect. The best things, is these packs bring me back to playing when I've lots interest. What a fantastic game, and having a way to add life onto it for myself is great.

You're seriously complaining about that? Just load a save right before you finish the game. Then guess what? You're free to roam around D.C?
It's better if the game has an ending, then it feels like you finished it.

an increased level cap comes with the new ending. and if i don't do the ending and can't show for it, i don't have the satisfaction. free roaming at the highest level SUCKS.

Yeah it does. I've been replaying it to get ready for broken steel and roaming around going to all the locations (love that explorer perk at level 20) and it's just not as exciting getting no xp or new perks.

As long as they release any future DLC it for PC and 360, why should anyone care if they provide it to PS3 players as well? I just hope we'll continue to see Bethesda provide this level of support. This really gives the game some legs and at this point I really don't know when I'll stop playing it...

I don't think Bethesda said they would stop after Broken Steel. I would like to see them explore California again, go to Fallout 1/2's settings and see how places like New Reno, San Francisco, Los Angeles, New California Republic, Vault 13/15, etc. have all changed since this game takes place after 1/2.

Or how about try NYC? But that sounds like a nightmare to create all those buildings and filling them up with things to explore.

I think their only interested in DLC packs that last a few hours, not major ones. : /

The NYC area wouldn't be all that fun. It's an advanced, not-wasteland area. See the android subquest in Fallout 3.

Some very lazy googling shows that theres a Point Lookout park in Maryland. Not to far from where the game takes place. So I'd say this sounds plausible.

Fallout hasn't had any DLC for the same reason Oblivion didn't, it's apprantly just too difficult for them to figure out.

Actually, the expansions to Oblivion did come for the PS3 in a Game of The Year edition and the PS3 port was a bit better than the 360 version. The PS3 is still getting Fallout : New Vegas in 2010.

They hate the PS3 so much that they didn't even make a version of Fallou ... wait. Nevermind.

Let's just get real here that they got a fat stack of benjamin franklins so the DLC was exclusive. We now for a fact that there is a deal in place we just don't know the terms and conditions of said deal. That has been kept private by Bethesda.

It's so stupid to hear such a dumb thing. Kind of like when the same person said Dragon Age Origins was a 360 exclusive. sigh.

Really? How many expansions do you need on an already 20 hour game?
Are there not better games out there to play?

Oh well, this game was lackluster in every way. I bought it for pc, got bored, used cheats, beat it once. Up on Ebay it went. Endless glitches, bugs, crappy voice acting... hardly any story... I really don't understand why this game gets so much praise.
And why is this crappy dlc is the cause for endless fanboy debates? $20 for dlc? No thank you. I could buy whole 2-4 whole games on PSN, WiiWare, or XBL for that much.

I've only put around 2-3 hours into the game to know well enough that saying there's hardly any story is moronic. I did enjoy your odd stream of consciousness commenting style however, albeit rambling and disjointed. Er I mean I didn't enjoy it.

@Markez
well... it does have a story everything has a story. It just sucks.
Maybe I was to distracted by all of the glitches/ bugs. And a line that randomly appeared down the side of my screen, causing my game to freeze.

@Jake B
Wii Play? Maybe I will. Seeing as how my 360 broke twice, and got sold on Ebay... And my Wii is working perfectly, along side my SNES, N64, Sega Genesis, PS1, PS2, and PS3.
Come to think of it...
Since i KNOW ny Wii won't die on me when I start it... It is a good choice.
Thanks for the suggestion!

I put in 80 hours before finally finishing it. Saving it beforehand of course. But I'd be happy with at least a patch to increase our level cap and the new perks so we can continue exploring in the game, and actually gain levels. Otherwise, its just a giant FPS for now. The RPG element is completely gone once you've tapped lvl 20.

Would I love to have all the DLC the 360 got? HELL YES. But throw us a bone Bethesda...at least raise or level cap or something....

Well it would have to come out for 360 and PC, if the expansion comes with "Broken Steel". It was only released on those systems unless they plan on releasing all the DLC on PS3 in two separate packages.

Sick and tired of Bethesda saying there is no PS3 version. This game is not as great as people make it out to be. I hated Oblivion and I hate Fallout 3 and it's crappy mechanics, robotic faces and dull landscapes. Bethesda is so full of crap. People on the PS3 would be happy to pay for the download meaning more customers and more money. But they are so full of $hit making every excuse in the world. They don't even have to give us the ones for the Xbox 360. Make some PS3 ones. Make a deal with Sony to get some downloadable content. Put it on a Blu-ray disc and sell it separately.Instead they have the nerve to want me to buy the PS3 version and settle for the basic disc?
Developers have some nerve to do this kind of crap and still expect us to buy their games. To want sell me underpowered, glitchy, half-@ssed, low res, shallow pieces of garbage and complain to high heaven when we don't, blaming everyone else but themselves. It may not mean much but Bethesda will never get my money. Even if they relent and give us the downloads, screw them. Their RPGs suck anyway. There are much better games coming down the pipes that I would rather spend my money on.

Don't care. People buy lots of stupid things. Remember how many people brought Chia pets, platform shoes, furry seat covers, fake gold teeth, pet rocks, mood rings and x-ray specs. Just because a lots of morons buy something doesn't automatically make it good. It just means that you feel for the company's hype. They probably laugh afterward and say "Can you believe the idiots fell for it". No one ever wanted to admit that Oblivion was a big mess either but it was a load of garbage .

My point is which as usual goes over the head of the dumb people I talk too on forums is to stop saying it. It is annoying. People keep complaining and they keep saying the same thing over and over again "the DLC is not coming for the PS3. It was the same thing with them telling WII owners that the system can play Resident Evil 5 and the Metal Gear Solid 4 wasn't coming to the Xbox 360. It is so pathetic to see PS3 owners crying and whining about not getting DLC of Fallout 3. Stop the pathetic begging. Fallout 3 is not that great a game. Who cares if it ever comes or not. I personally don't care if the DLC comes or not. My "drama" as you put it is for everyone else. Quit begging on your knees. Don't let Bethesda lead you around on a string. Tell Bethesda to screw off, because like i said their games are not that good and seriously over rated. It's not worth the effort especially with so many games coming the the PS3, we can do a lot better then Fallout 3.

The thing I agree with is that I don't plan on buying their shooter Rogue Warrior after the PS3 version of Fallout 3 was buggy and hasn't been treated on equal grounds. It's certainly nothing to whine and bitch about but I won't buy their future products unless they are fully supported and ship without crippling bugs. I think they make fantastic games but it's not like I have to play them.

After Broken Steel they can't add anymore achievements. (The new cap is set at 1000 + 750 for DLC)
Maybe Microsoft would let them add achievements worth "0", at least it's something haha
