$100 wifi adapter? If you want to pay over the odds for an unreliable official adapter, go for it.

Any cheap and cheerful wireless ethernet bridge will do the the same thing, only better.

The HDDs and Live subs can also be found cheaper if you shop around.

OMFG I hope this is true. Perfect Dark for N64 is one of the best shooters out there, and the multiplayer for it back then was way ahead of its time. This, in addition to Xbox Live games like BattleField 1943 is making me extremely happy.

Perfect Dark 2 doesn't even come CLOSE to living up to the game, but if this is true I hope there is online multiplayer and a ranking system, I'll simply rape all. I have so much time put into my N64 version of Perfect Dark I have the top rank in multiplayer. :P

Would love to see some other games like Shenmue 1 be put on XBL but I doubt that will ever happen.

Why wouldn't Shenmue 1 come to XBLA? Shenmue 2 came out on the original Xbox and Sega enjoy bringing their classics to Arcade.....I for one cross my fingers that it does arrive (even if I do still have it on my DC)!

Sadly I found that more exciting than the idea of playing PD on XBLA.

You can play PD with two N64 controllers for that dual analog setup. It plays much better. You can also emulate it and use a 360 controller where N64 controller 1 is the left analog and N64 controller 2 is the right analog. It's a little sketchy, but it works much better than the c buttons.

In any case, I would wait for the remake. The graphics are a little worn at this point and I'm sure they'll tighten up the controls for the 360 controller. If it looks anything like the leaked Goldeneye screens, it should look pretty nice.

This news is the shit. I was just talking today about how great an xbla PD would be.

Bean was the codename for Goldeneye, which for same reason is going completely unnoticed by most sites.

Unnoticed, or ignored since Rare still can't get permission to bring it across. Shame, really.

Well it looks like the Shenmue franchise is pretty much dead at this time. At least here in the US.
