Street Fighter IV PC to be joined by Resident Evil 5, Bionic Commando

Capcom just sent a press release our way confirming that the GFW Live-compatible Street Fighter IV will be accompanied by two other big Capcom games on PC: Resident Evil 5 and Bionic Commando. July will see the release of Street Fighter IV and Bionic Commando, with Resident Evil 5 arriving sometime later this year, featuring support for NVIDIA's new GeForce 3D Vision technology.

Considering that Street Fighter IV supports GWF Live, we're assuming the other titles will, but the press release makes no mention of it. It only cites the games are "optimized for the PC platform and will have new PC-specific features added." We've put in word to Capcom and will update you all as soon as we hear back.

This article does not mention the amazing 3D Glasses setup you can utilize with RE5 on PC.

I had that exact same stereoscopic 3d deal (except there was a wire from the glasses to my graphics card) set up 10 freakin years ago, and the glasses only cost $20 back then

Yet somehow they've rereleased it and now the same thing manages to cost hundreds and hundreds of dollars to set up ($200 for the goggles and $4-600 for a compatible monitor)

Also, spoiler alert: Stereoscopic 3d isn't worth hundreds of dollars

From what I've heard from people who've used it, it's actually really cool, and not in a gimmicky way. There are some bugs due to how some games render some elements (such as how the HUD is rendered), but it does work pretty well in many games.

Has Lost Planet 2 and Dead Rising 2 been confirmed for PC as well?

Nonetheless, thanks very much for supporting the beleagured PC platform Capcom, its good to be able to play PC-exclusive games as well as these console games and taking advantage of the PC's superior hardware, you guys rock! : D

Yeah aiming the Bionic Arm with a mouse will trump anything else by a landslide.

Please don't make an awful port of RE5... the memory of RE4 still makes me sad.

DMC4 ran great on PC so I'm hoping they can do the same thing here.

i was just about to say the same thing.. that RE4 port was an abomination.

God, Ubisoft's team did such a hack job of porting that code over.

It completely ruined the game for me.

Man, I wanted BC on PC, but since it's coming out way after the console versions I'll prob pick up the 360.

Aiming w/ the mouse might be good to not play again though when it comes out on PC. Those guys are doing a great job with BC. They could have just made it a generic shitty action game, and aimed far higher, so I hope they're rewarded for it.

It's hard to believe Capcom is making money on PC versions, but I did hear Lost Planet sold pretty well on PC (like 200k-300k copies).

I'm hoping that the games are NOT as broken as Lost Planet on PC.

I want to know if all the DLC that console suckers bought is going to be included in to the disc?

can't wait to see all the mods on naked sheva, excella and jill.

I can still remember the ones on RE4 for Ashley. Not that much was left to imagination

A quick look at amazon could've just as easily told you about Bionic Commando first set to come out in April, now in June or July. I mean, this isn't news per say if it was already known in January right?
