Turtles in Time remake in development for XBLA, possibly PSN and WiiWare

The 25th Anniversary Tour for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is traveling across the country right now, and reports are rolling in from those lucky enough to stop by one of the locations that a remake of Turtles in Time is currently in development.

The Alpha build of the game is being demoed on the Xbox 360 throughout the tour, but we're getting reports it could possibly makes its way to PSN and WiiWare as well, though there is no confirmation of that right now. One of our tipsters pointed us to the Twitter account for Hyperfludd (who stopped by and snagged some pics), but we've also found other sources confirming this game's existence.

Turtles in Time is arguably the best Turtles game ever, so remaking it is definitely a smart idea. Kind of like putting peanut butter on pizza.

Well I'm 27 and I'm on Xbox Live. Not just me, most of my gamer friends (my age) as well. So, your assumption is not quite accurate. Oh, and I also played the arcade game back in the day :)

I agree that we should see a PSN release of TiT (LoL) but I'm interested in how you came to your conclusion about the age of the consoles' users, being 27 myself.

Oh, and I'm also a PS3/360/Wii user, in case that's not completely obvious. :P

Yeah, I'm not so sure about the age thing either. I'm 24 and a PS3 player for the most part (also own a Wii and my bro has a 360). I used to play this and most of the other big ones as a kid 5 years and up. Still play the SNES version on occasion.

Note that I did not say no one over 20 has a PS3 or that no one over 30 can own an xbox. I merely said that the target audience for PS3's are older, which was plainly evidenced by it's launch as a $600 console. It's just as obvious that the target audience for the Wii skews a bit younger, which of course doesn't preclude older people from owning one. I owned a Wii myself until I gave it to my parents, who are obviously much older than me : P

ehh.. the game is fun for about 20 minutes, then its just very repetitive. its like castle crashers, i thought it was like the funnest game ever, then after beating it and realizing that most of the characters are very similar i moved on.
