What do you do when you're an x-ray technician at the largest hospital in the northern part of the Netherlands? You haul your collection of gaming consoles and accessories in and send them through, naturally. Check out the gallery below of images that we received from Reinier van der Ende, and take a look at your consoles in a way you've never seen them before. What's especially impressive is that he even took the time to scan some N64 carts, a Zapper, an empty Wii wheel, and a Game Boy Pocket, among others.
Check out the gallery below for all of the radiated gaming goodies, and just wonder how this guy got everything in and out of the hospital. We'd pay hard cash money for a photo of a red-ringed 360 on the way to the x-rays in a gown and wheelchair.

DWells, you don't seem to understand the difference between ionizing and non-ionizing radiation.

I feel oddly dirty for taking a peek at the inner parts of the systems...

how come there wasn't one of the 360 system?
is weird to see how some items are big but are empty in many parts
i.e the n64 looks like it could have been more compact

@Doug
How do you assume that all PS3 exclusive owners are complete douches?
All he was saying was that there is empty space in a toilet. Though, that 'empty' space holds the water which drains into the tank.
I don't think they included the 360 X-ray because most people have taken their 360s apart to do the 'fix' for the RRoD. They KNOW what the inside looks like...

...Well, excuse the hell outta me for not reading a comment on the internet about a toilet correctly. While at work, trying to bypass the internet blocker to play games...
What would I do without you guys?
Here, I will fix my comment, just for you!

Then after reading Elijah's comment closer, he is talking about crap. I agree with him. Completely. I had a 360 break on me twice, then it went to Ebay. How that is acceptable is beyond me. Why people buy 2 360s just in case one needs to be sent in, is just stupid. No matter how many exclusive games the 360 has, it does NOT justify this.

What idiot would void their warranty by taking apart their console to "fix" it when the RRoD is covered by an extended warranty? Is it the same kind that makes obtuse and uninformed comments on gaming blags?

umm... considering most of the people I know (that have 360) have had RRoD. Only one of them actually sent it in. The other about 10, have just fixed it themselves. They did not want to go weeks without playing. So, there are people out there who 'void their warranties'. Just to not wait for repairs.
Its not the smartest choice... But... I don't have a 360, more power to them.

umm... It was a half joke. Damn man. Calm the F down.
It is the internet. If you think MY comment is 'obtuse and uninformed' then... You do not get on the internet enough.
but, have fun thinking that you always make perfect comments.

I can't decide if the NES controller, the Nunchuck or the 360 controller is the best.
And I had almost forgotten how much space was wasted in a NES cartridge just to make the thing look like a VHS tape.

Some other games might have used more of the space. Look at the slide with Mario64 and Ocarina on it. In the Mario cart there's a bunch of wasted space, but with the Zelda cart there's almost twice as much mechinery as the Mario one and very little wasted space. The carts just have to be a standard size for ease of identification with a single system, and it has to be on the large side so the more intensive games can fit all their required components.

Lets see how many times I can reply to myself!
@manyquestions: Yeah, but Mario 3 was pretty much the best the NES could do. I could be wrong, but I don't think any NES game used all that space up. I recall the design was to make the NES look like a VC, rather then a games machine, as it was designed in the middle of the video game crash. That's why it was such a pain in the arse to use.
