Fight Night Round 4 roster features 50 faces to rearrange
As revealed on the EA Sports forums, the latest issue of PlayStation: The Official Magazine spills the beans er, whatever's in a punching bag on the complete roster of fighters that will be featured in Fight Night Round 4. The list is comprised of 50 pugilists in total, with the magazine commenting that more could potentially be added via DLC.
Wait a second ... no Burger King? As much as it saddens us, he's not on the complete roster, which you'll find conveniently situated after the break.

Fun with Crayons @ May 4th 2009 6:30PM

Relentless @ May 4th 2009 6:40PM

The Dark Wayne @ May 4th 2009 7:04PM
I got my Irish boxer fill in FN3 by making my costume boxer Conan O Brien
yo Naturale @ May 4th 2009 8:44PM
I will consider buying this if Arturo Gotti opens a cut when the fighters touch gloves at the beginning of the fight. That guy was a bleeder.
yo Naturale @ May 4th 2009 9:17PM
Gotti -> Gatti
yo Naturale @ May 4th 2009 9:41PM
Don't mean to be hammering your comment Donald, just trying to keep it in-thread...
Thinking about Gatti reminded me of a couple awesome fights (both losses for Gatti) he had against Ivan Robinson in the late-90's that are less talked-about than the Ward-Gotti matches. If you like to see guys trade a lot of punches, these were great fights (and findable on youtube).
It were these, plus the Mickey Ward and Angel Manfredy fights that hooked me into watching boxing in the 90's. It didn't matter if he lost or not, Gatti had string of some of the most entertaining fights of the era.
SoulAssassin @ May 5th 2009 2:02AM
@Donald
Exactly my thoughts. Once I saw Gatti, I looked for Ward's name. I was actually talking about their fights the other day too. Oh well.
DungeonK @ May 4th 2009 6:14PM
Missing Floyd Mayweather Jr and Evander Holyfield :(
Discotheque @ May 4th 2009 6:15PM
Yeah I just noticed that.
Fun with Crayons @ May 4th 2009 6:28PM
mayweather jr. just doesn't like seeing his face all bloodied and bruised. but the absence of holyfield does concern me.
JDHexen @ May 4th 2009 6:53PM
You just named what's going to be in the DLC.
Brady @ May 4th 2009 10:25PM
Yeah. I wanna beat Tyson's ass with Holyfield. That or get my other ear chewed off.
Professor Lario @ May 4th 2009 6:14PM
Valero, Morales, Taylor, Cotto, Campbell, Mosley, Hagler... wow - I really can't wait for this.
OhJustSomeRandomGuy @ May 4th 2009 6:16PM
I see that now that EA actually has to pay him, Alexis Arguello is no longer considered good enough to be in an EA boxing game.

Pacquiao v Hatton rematch.
Maybe my nimble fingers can make Hatton last longer than 8 seconds :p
Shame he's an ugly chav with a big head (which got knocked the @$%£ out :P)
PrimetimePragz @ May 4th 2009 6:24PM
mayweather jr, holyfield and the klitchko brothers better be dlc.
Rodrigo (revenge of the ps3) @ May 4th 2009 6:21PM
no Oscar de la Hoya!!!!!!!!! i cant believe it!!! to me he is the greatest boxer ever!!! no buy for me :/
OhJustSomeRandomGuy @ May 4th 2009 6:27PM
De La Hoya's also the biggest self-promoter in the history of boxing, so it's not surprising that EA didn't want to fork out Oscar cash for a guy who's not hot anymore.
Rodrigo (revenge of the ps3) @ May 4th 2009 6:45PM
but dude Oscar is more popular than over half of that list!
JDHexen @ May 4th 2009 6:56PM
Maybe more popular but no better.
OhJustSomeRandomGuy @ May 4th 2009 7:00PM
Maybe in his heyday he was more popular, but now, not so much, and definitely not enough to justify the money he was likely asking for.
THE WICKER MAN (BWF) (GT: Dalek Prime) @ May 4th 2009 7:21PM

Calzaghe is in, nice.
Linkario @ May 4th 2009 6:24PM
In the words of Mike Tyson...
I'll f*#k you til' you love me f@gg0t.
THE WICKER MAN (BWF) (GT: Dalek Prime) @ May 4th 2009 7:22PM
lol. If tyson was able to talk his crazy shit in this game it would be my GOTY! "I wanna step on children's testicles so you can feel my pain!"
Linkario @ May 4th 2009 10:18PM
Not to mention that his style is impetuous AND his defense is impregnable
Boffo the $ock @ May 5th 2009 9:05AM
You can't last two minutes in my world!
Fun with Crayons @ May 4th 2009 6:26PM
oh snap two filipino fighters made the roster, Pacquaio and Donair. i also like the addition of Cintron.
NandoSupes @ May 4th 2009 8:41PM
I agree Cintron is a nice add.but where is Juan Manuel Lopez???
LouDogg @ May 6th 2009 11:21AM
No Juan Manuel Marquez? How can fight fans finally settle the Marquez-Pacquiao rivalry.
Juan Diaz would have also been a great addition, as well as Antonio Margarito and his "hands of stone" (literally!). So would James Kirkland...better yet his trainer Ann Wolfe. That woman scares me.
B3astofthe3ast @ May 4th 2009 6:27PM
Does Mike Tyson come with a signature ear biting maneuver?
KingOfGods @ May 4th 2009 6:38PM
can we just let that joke die....please
Dirty @ May 4th 2009 6:41PM
probably not..... ever.
gamedude420 @ May 4th 2009 8:07PM
well the real question should be Does Mike Tyson come with a signature ear biting maneuver? and if so then if he bites Tommy Morrison will he get aids?
Linkario @ May 5th 2009 1:41PM
It isn't really a joke because when Fight Night was Knockout Kings they did have the ear bite move during clinches.
Been there. Done that.
JohnWayne506th @ May 4th 2009 6:41PM
Where is Joe Lewis?? One of the best of ALL TIME!!!! Held the title longer then any other.
monstar92 @ May 4th 2009 6:58PM
Who's Joe Lewis??? Louis...
JohnWayne506th @ May 4th 2009 7:15PM
Oops!!! I meant Louis.
monstar92 @ May 4th 2009 6:53PM
Now way is Edwin Valero in the game! The guy is barely allowed to box in Texas let alone anywhere else!
Redface @ May 4th 2009 6:56PM
Vinny Paz?! WHAAAAT? As in, Jedi Mind Tricks Emcee Vinny Paz? Aww shit, dawg.
I'm a lion out the jungle/raw meat what I like
I bleed in a fight/Vinnie like the taste of his blood
and I'll open up your stomach like the case of a slug
YoRone22 @ May 4th 2009 7:29PM
No. Vinny Paz and Vinnie Paz are two different people. smh.
7ru @ May 4th 2009 8:27PM
hahaha
Come to think of it, throwing random rappers in the ring to be pummeled isn't such a bad idea. Not Vinnie Paz, mind you, but maybe Soulja Boy vs Tyson? I could beat that kid's head in all day!
JDHexen @ May 4th 2009 7:01PM
I can finally buy my first Fight Night since I was holding out till Tyson was put in one.Guess I don't have to play Mike Tyson Heavyweight Boxing again.
watchthatman @ May 4th 2009 7:10PM
I wonder which member of the seven George Foremans they're talking about (George, George Jr., George III, George IV, George V, George VI, and of course, Super Saiyan George Foreman)
MystileArmor @ May 4th 2009 11:41PM
You forgot the George Foreman Grill!
